We had been toying with the idea of a destination wedding for a while before we were referred to Fidan and Milena by a friend of ours. We had our initial consultation in person, where they presented us with the merits of an off-resort wedding vs. a traditional resort option. We were also able to see estimated cost breakdowns based on our expected party size depending on which option and which country we were considering. We were made to feel welcome, relaxed, and left feeling a lot more confident! Given that we live outside the GTA, they accommodated every subsequent meeting virtually, where we worked primarily with Milena.

Throughout the planning process, we really appreciated Milena’s ability to stay organized and maintain attention to detail. She scheduled regular meetings with the vendors according to our availability, asked them important questions to gauge what’s possible/realistic within our budget, spoke fluent Spanish with them as needed, and kept the vendors on track so that nothing fell through the cracks. It was especially helpful that her and Fidan have an established relationship with multiple vendors within each category, so we got to look through the portfolios and websites of a number of different photographers, DJs, florists, and venues whose quality Milena and Fidan could personally vouch for.

Whenever we expressed concern with cost or aesthetics, Milena was quick to offer alternatives or options to cut down expenses. We never felt pressured to accept something that didn’t feel right or didn’t bring us value, and looking back, this was so important to help us manage the stress of it all!

A couple of weeks before our ceremony in Mexico, Milena married us legally in Toronto, which was a nice touch. We didn’t have anyone else in mind for this service, so it felt a little more special having someone there who had gotten to know us a little more closely over the past year.

Once in Mexico, in the days leading up to the ceremony, and on the day itself, Milena’s cool headedness really came through. When stress levels are at their peak, she continued to be reassuring, methodical, and encouraging. There were so many elements to the day we were convinced would have some kind of hiccup, but everything flowed so much better than we imagined. We honestly would’ve abandoned the whole thing in the early stages if we didn’t have her holding things together. Thank you so much to both of you for making our dream a reality!

Few years ago before I met my Husband I heard about Designed Dream Team and I started to follow them on Instagram. I liked their job at the other weddings. After my husband proposed to me I contacted Fidan and Milena and I told them our budget and what we want for our wedding, in terms of theme, colour, etc. They patiently listened to my husband and I and everything we wanted for our wedding. They both had AMAZING and I mean AMAZING recommendations. Our Venue was first on list and Milena had a suggestion,we went to the place and BOY OH BOY we fell in love with it.it was a dream come true. Anything related to wedding they had Wonderful suggestion for it. Our videographer,Our florist, Our Venue, our cake , Our drapes, Our seating charts/welcoming signs and Our officiant were ALL recommended by them and we LOVED them all to the point that we did not have to look for other options. Everything matched our budget! During all those months before the wedding there was amazing clear communications between us. Fidan and Milena would remind us about things need to be done before the wedding. Our Big day came on September 4th and AMAZINGLY the whole time before and during our wedding we were STRESS FREE. We were just excited but we were not stressed AT ALL and it was all because of their amazing communications and attitude. On our big day we enjoyed everything and it was gorgeous. So if you are reading this or you are planning for your big day I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND this amazing, kind and lovely Team Specially Milena and Fidan. If you want STRESS FREE wedding definitely reach out to them, They made everything possible for me and even better than what I asked for. I found Fidan after a long search on Instagram and Google - of typing in “best wedding planners in Toronto”. I had interviewed and talked to a couple, but none ever felt right. I had my initial meeting with Fidan just over 3 years ago (it’s September 24) now. I had a vision for my wedding, I wanted a dream wedding. And after my first meeting with her, she made me feel heard, understood, seen, and listened to. She was warm, welcoming and so kind from day one. Every question I asked she answered. Every worry I had she calmed. Every single thing about my experience with this team has been nothing short of immaculate. I threw in some curve balls, some pauses in planning, some last minute requests, and everything was accommodated with no questions asked. Every single person that was recommended to me to work with from the photographer to the florist to linens and everything in between , were all insanely beautiful people. If I could plan a wedding ten times over, just to work with you continuously …. I would. To say you are meant to do what you are doing would be an understatement. You make people feel loved, you make people feel special, and you make their dreams come true. You are one of a kind, and I left my experience devastated that I don’t get to talk to you every day anymore 😂 a long lasting impact and a brilliantly executed day. Fidan and her team are incredible! Fidan went above and beyond to source amazing vendors that brought the theme of our son’s party to life in a short time frame. From the gorgeous decorations to the wonderful art teachers who entertained the children - everything was perfect!
