A dreamy, ethereal garden of eden extravaganza pretty much sums up Megan and Aaron’s big day. The couple chose a theme of “boho chic” that included tons of florals and a pretty pastel colour scheme of rose, taupe, and lots of green. The brilliant minds at Designed Dream Events helped orchestrate the stunning result at The Doctor's House, a venue that was chosen because, according to the couple, it bucked the traditional wedding style which is “so not us.” It was a perfect location for their beautiful wedding, and thankfully the creative lens of Olive Photography was on hand to snap each memorable moment.
The couple exchanged vows in front of their friends and family at a charming chapel that was simply rustic and very romantic.
The couple’s sweet photo session was punctuated by the natural beauty of the great outdoors. Their wedding party added a lot of laughter to the pictures, which also included, of course, lots of love.
The newlyweds’ reception was elegantly understated and filled with lots of personal elements that added a touch of whimsy and intimacy to the night. The pretty muted palette paired perfectly with the gorgeous florals from Quill & Oak. Organic-yet-modern touches were present thanks to the wooden platters and the chic stationary from DIY. Guests were treated to a divine cake by Le Dolci and later danced to the tunes of DJ Big Jacks before they lit up the night with fun glow-in-the-dark bracelets.
From the Bride: We loved our venue! We wanted something that didn’t have the look and feel of a traditional wedding hall, but would accommodate our guest count.
