St. Lawrence Market consists of two distinct event spaces. Located on the West Mezzanine of the South Market, The Market Kitchen is a demonstration kitchen and special event venue. The 2,400 sq. ft. space features a soaring ceiling, exposed brick walls and 20 ft. windows - all of which provide the historic backdrop to the fully-equipped kitchen outfitted with state-of-the-art appliances by Monogram. The fusion of classic architecture and modern amenities is enhanced by the stunning view of Toronto's skyline, which changes dramatically depending on the time of day: the bustling downtown core in daytime; the sunset in late afternoon; and the bright lights of the city's skyscrapers at night. The Temporary Market functions as our Farmers Market on Saturday and our Antique Market on Sunday, however is available to rent from Monday through Thursday. It's perfect for film production companies, recreation sports and corporate team building functions. We performed at the ravenously popular Evening at the Market in 2017 and are crossing our fingers that we will get to go back! The venue team was quick to respond and got us signed on to the event in a matter of days. On the day-of we had a seamless load-in and a wonderful time performing in the halls of the market. We can't wait to come back!
