Since it’s completion in 1910, the historic building at 134 Peter Street has been well inhabited. It began as a Weston’s Biscuit Factory, filling the air with intoxicating fresh-baked aromas. By the 1970s, it had been transformed into a high-end fashion showroom. And over the last few decades, it has spent time operating as an art gallery and even a nightclub. Today, the original building still stands, but in a completely re-imagined way. It lives at the heart of Toronto’s most innovative tower – a newly built engineering marvel that sits on top of and exists as part of the original 134. QRC West is a historic building in downtown Toronto, boasting exposed brick and modern adaptations. Upon entry you arrive at the stunning Atrium, our dramatic and inspired open event space. Throughout sit our most impressive features – three massive, interlocked, 70-foot delta frames, providing grand architectural integrity and allure. The Atrium is contemporary yet classic. It combines intimacy with grandeur, character with luxury, and it’s designed to be transformed to bring your unique occasion to life.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue & their staff! We held our Wedding at Ricardas last weekend, and it was everything we dreamed of and more. Planning for over a year can be stressful, but the experience was made as easy as possible with Michelle’s assistance. Answering countless questions through the course of the year+, always in a timely fashion, leaving us feel at ease and excited every step of the way. Our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the venue itself, the food, the service, etc, etc! You will not regret hosting your event here with Michelle’s help :)

Over the top! We held our daughters wedding at Ricardas this past weekend.
The venue itself is breath-taking. The food and service beyond expectation.
Our guests raved about the staff and their attention to detail.

Amazing venue and amazing service!
Michelle was our venue coordinator and helped plan every detail for my wedding this past weekend. The service was exceptional - both leading up to the event and during the evening.
The food was to die for. It matched exactly what we taste tested even when scaled up for 130 people.
The venue itself was gorgeous. They have a ton of great vendors to recommend to personalize the event for you.
Our guests had so many positive things to say about the whole evening and I can't think of one negative things to say about the whole experience. I would definitely recommend this venue to others.

My husband and I had our wedding at Ricardas this past July of 2024.
It was truly the venue of our dreams. Everything from the venue, to the food, to the service was absolute perfection and incredible.
Michelle is the true gem of Ricardas. She was always there for us with every question- she made the entire planning process so easy and enjoyable.
The day of staff were all incredible, attentive and so kind. Chef Julien went above and beyond and made sure every dish was done to perfection. I cannot recommend Ricardas enough! Made our dream wedding a reality!

My wife and I had the most wonderful experience organizing our wedding at Ricarda's. We cannot say enough great things about the space, food, and most importantly the staff. Of course, the first thing we loved was the physical space. The architecture really is the decor (meaning you don't have to invest as much in tons of other stuff) and our guests raved that the space was elegant, contemporary, and well laid-out. Next, the food. No rubber chicken dinners here. The culinary team at Ricarda's are absolute pros. We had two (!) tastings with them and had a tough time deciding which of their amazing meals to include in our menu. They are also insanely flexible, working with us to create the perfect menu for our families' tastes. They also let us bring it our own late-night food. Finally, and most importantly, the event staff team is beyond fabulous. We worked with Zoe and Jennifer who bent over backwards to make sure our event was perfect. They were honourable and fair in their pricing and found ways for us to stay within our budget. They worked directly with Gervais rentals to bring it tables and chairs which was one less thing for us to worry about. On the night-of, we had a couple of grandparents fall ill and their team was so professional and helpful in dealing with the situation. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how kind and attentive the wait staff and bartenders were. Zoe and Jennifer have built an amazing team. My wife and I were just having dinner with a couple who is about to get married and they complained non-stop about how inflexible their venue was being and how they felt like they were being nickel-and-dimed for everything they wanted to do. We smiled because we couldn't relate even a little bit. RICARDA'S IS AMAZING. STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND JUST DO IT. You'll forever be glad you did!

My partner and I tried to organize a wedding here and saw the venue. We were very interested and excited about the venue and they were willing to make food requests special to our party. Subsequent to our visit, we began to send follow-up e-mails to the coordinator who did not reply. We sent a total of 4-5 e-mails over the course of a month until we finally received a response at which point there were several excuses as to the lack of responsiveness. This restaurant as a venue is EXTREMELY unprofessional and was very disappointed. Of note reading the review below, we are also a minority couple that tried to organize a wedding at this restaurant.

I had the pleasure of performing at Ricarda’s on Thursday, October 10th, and it was a fantastic experience. The space was beautifully set up for live music, and the team, especially Diego, was incredibly professional. They gave us plenty of room to prepare the stage and ensure the sound was perfect for the evening. The food was exceptional, making the event even more special for the guests. It’s always great to perform in such a welcoming and well-run venue. Highly recommend for any special occasion or corporate event!
