Propeller is a celebrated event venue in the heart of one of Toronto's up and coming art communities. Housed in a restored century old metal factory, it is now home to an award winning artisan coffee roastery and cafe by day. It offers an industrial, yet elegant and beautifully light-filled venue for weddings, corporate parties, dinner clubs and more. Featuring high ceilings, exposed brick, and a view of the roasting room, Propeller is a unique and gorgeous setting perfect for both intimate events as well as mid-size events. We can accommodate 80 (100 maximum) seated for dinner, or up to 125 cocktail style. Our main room features a gorgeous bar and opens up to a Tasting Room that's perfect for food stations or mingling with a glass in hand. We work with some of the most creative and celebrated caterers in the city and offer impeccable service every time. We aim to make your special event as memorable and unique as you are.

We love Propellor! I recently held a dissertation defense party here for my graduate student since we have spent so many hours working here and it was wonderful. The venue has a beautiful and comfortable vibe. The staff could not have been more helpful. All of the guests raved about the venue (it just feels so special yet comfortable) and how accommodating it is. We can't wait to host another event here!

We love Propeller!!! Our wedding was such a blast and we couldn't be happier that we held it at Propeller. Our guests loved the access to transit, the outdoor patio space and garage doors, and the general look and feel of the space. Carlos is an absolute pleasure to work with. Decor drop off and pick up was quick and easy and the turnover between the ceremony and reception was so smooth. We would absolutely recommend Propeller to anyone looking for a fun, urban and intimate venue.

One of the first big decisions you have to make when planning your wedding is choosing a venue and it can be a lot of pressure - the venue you choose greatly influences how the whole wedding will look and feel. As soon as my husband and I walked into Propeller Coffee we immediately knew that we had found our place: it is such a naturally beautiful space with very little need for sprucing up, it had the intimate vibe that we were looking for, and Carlos the event manager immediately put us at ease with his friendly demeanour, communication skills, and organization. We were thrilled with how everything went with Propeller from start to finish. Our wedding was over a year ago now and we still talk about how having our wedding at Propeller was the best decision ever. And now we get to go back to the place where we got married for a coffee any time we want!

We couldn't be happier with the decision to host our wedding at Propeller. My wife and I were looking for a space that we could make feel like we were hosting a summer dinner party, but was versatile enough to change over into a vibey dance party as well. Propeller hit all those notes! Carlos and his team were super helpful and worked well with all of our vendors. The drop off and pick up process was flexible and seamless. We'd definitely recommend Propeller for your future wedding.

We hosted our wedding at Propeller Coffee. It was an amazing space that we were already familiar with since we have gone there for coffee before - high ceilings, nice lighting, and garage doors that could open up and let in the evening light. We liked the rustic look and feel of the space as it was, so we really didn't need to add too much decor of our own outside of the table settings. Everything went smoothly working with Carlos and Jyle.
Carlos was great to work with, he would respond quickly to our emails and worked with us to change the floor plans and other updates as needed. I would recommend Propeller as a venue for events or weddings!

We are so thankful we chose Propeller as our wedding venue! The gorgeous, open space was perfect for the elegant-but-chill vibes we were going for. The twinkling lights on the ceiling made everything feel magical and all of the available shelving helped us truly customize the space to suit us. Carlos was fantastic to work with and very patiently guided us through the decisions we needed to make that never even occurred to us (as two people who never plan events!). Decor drop off and pick up was quick and easy and the turnover between the ceremony and reception was done so smoothly. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful all night. We would absolutely recommend Propeller to anyone looking for a comfortable and intimate venue.

Hands down one of the coolest new event spaces in the city! Rustic yet urban-chique, this sustainable coffee roastery boasts beautiful polished concrete floors, sumptuous floor to ceiling windows, a funky roll up garage door and beautiful exposed wood beams highlighting the soaring ceiling space. Perfect for a cocktail reception, office party, sit down dinner or film screening, this space truly has it all!

It all starts with exceptional coffee. Propeller Coffee Co. is first and foremost, an exceptional producer of coffee for retail and wholesale customers. I can highly recommend their coffee, I drink it every day. It makes my day!

The care and attention that the team at Propeller Coffee Co puts into their coffee is reflected by what they have done in creating an exceptional event space.

The Event Space is bright, fashionable, easily accessible and very well appointed. From the beautiful tables to the amazing light in the cupping room (you have to see it to believe it) all the details are thought out. In the summer months the three garage doors open to provide an easy transition between indoor and outdoor space. If your event is larger the parking lot will accommodate a 60' tent!

The back of house is as well set up as the front of house. It allows for easy deliveries and the room allows for very complex service to be handled easily. There is both a walk in cooler and freezer on site that can be used by your caterer.

Kristi and the team at Propeller are friendly, knowledgeable and caring.

The location while it seems a little out of the way is a short walk from the Lansdowne Subway Stop. There is on-site parking and a Green P parking within walking distance.
The catering list includes a great group of caterers who can work with your tastes to come up with a menu that will amaze your guests.
