Located on the northern shore of Lake Ontario, The Henley Room at the Argonaut Rowing club, is the perfect event venue for those looking for a waterfront setting. With capacity for up to 200 guests, The Henley Room is perfect for weddings, corporate and social events. The only thing better than 750 sqft of waterfront terrace, is letting your guests watch the sun dip below the horizon, while having those perfect photos taken down on the docks. The Henley Room is a fully licensed establishment with trained bartenders ready to customize a bar as well as superb catering for the perfect party.

I've attended a few events at Argonaut Rowing Club since I moved to Toronto five years ago. The venue is gorgeous, especially since the recent renovation! The Henley Room is a great blend of modern and historic with a large original fireplace and beautiful bar area, but modern lighting and fixtures!

Absolutely loved getting married here. I don’t have a single complaint about it. Robin, the event coordinator who worked with me was wonderful. She was friendly, approachable, and on the ball. She was also just a lovely, sunny person. The venue itself was the perfect size for an 80 person event. The view of the lake was spectacular. The free parking on site was also a bonus for my guests who car-pooled. We had a cocktail style reception and Robin was great for helping me with the layout and furniture rentals. We had an outdoor, dock side ceremony and it was chilly but worth it. We went with an open bar provided by the venue and I am so happy with that decision. My guests loved their selection and quality. The venue booking included a wine tasting (we picked like 6 wines) and the bar included craft beers and brand name spirits. My mom also surprise booked a live owl to show up (with a handler) during the reception. Robin was super patient and accommodating with this unusual surprise. I really couldn’t recommend The Henley Room more. Working with them as a vendor was one of the easiest and most worry-free parts of planning my wedding.

The Toronto Argonaut Rowing Club/ Henley Room was the setting for our NYE wedding. It was absolutely the perfect place for our small wedding. Robin and Logan were so helpful and went over the top to help us make our wedding everything we dreamed of. We had the most beautiful view of the lake and the dreamiest sunset. The bar was amazing and our guests continue to compliment the huge selection of drinks. As soon as we went to the Henley Room we knew it was the perfect venue, and it was in every way!

Booked a "First look tour" for the 1st of November. Got a confirmation e-mail from them. Had to leave work early and move a few things around to make it happen at the limited available time. When we got there the lights were off and clearly no one there to show us the venue. Real great waste of time driving across the city for nothing. Based on the other reviews and this experience not even going to consider having our wedding there. Worst part is no one has responded to the voice mail I left on the main line and mobile number line. Or replied to my e-mail. Really unprofessional.

The view of the lake is incredible. We really like the lighting. The space itself is a good size. We loved the outdoor balcony.

We just LOVE working with The Henley Room and their wonderful team. And the view - what can we say? There are a very limited number of Toronto event spaces on our gorgeous lake and the option for ceremonies at the docks and/or drinks from their stunning balcony overlooking are second to none. Having updated the space in recent years, the bright and breezy main hall combined with the nostalgic feel of the bar and lobby areas make the Henley Room both chic and relaxed all at the same time.

Whether you are celebrating a birthday, baby shower or planning the wedding of your dreams, you simply must consider this phenomenal location. Panoramic lake views, a beautiful terrace, easily accessible location on the Lakeshore, parking and privacy are just some of many incredible features. As a preferred caterer we have serviced countless events and worked seamlessly with the Henley room crew (Logan Prong is a dream to work with!).
