About

Our team of musicians at Toronto Wedding Strings perform exclusively for private weddings only. We are the Greater Toronto Area's largest agency of the most experienced wedding musicians who have played more than 10,000+ weddings in the past 15 years.

Artists on our team feature violinists, violists, and cellists who perform with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Canadian Opera Company, National Ballet of Canada, as well as toured with Michael Bublé and have performed internationally in Europe, Asia, and North America. Our harpist currently tours with Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and was selected by the Sony Label as their featured harpist for all performances and recordings.

Our team includes solo violinists, violists, solo cello, and string duos, string trios, and string quartets. Our most popular combination is a string quartet with harp. Our clients receive one-on-one consultations, management with their wedding planners and officiants, as well as unlimited song requests for the ceremony and cocktail hour at no extra cost in our 2 hour booking package.

What does a booking with Toronto Wedding Strings include?

Our 2 hour live wedding music package includes: - 2 Hours of performance time with our musicians - Live Music for Prelude (background music as guests arrive) - Live Music for Wedding Ceremony (the most important event!) - Live Music for Cocktail Hour (when guests enjoy, drink, and mingle post-Ceremony!) - FREE Consultation with Couples - UNLIMITED Song Requests - All travel time and equipment

I have specific song requests I'd like to hear performed during our ceremony, signing, first dance, etc. Can you help us with those?

Absolutely! We actually ENCOURAGE and LOVE it when couples know what songs they'd like to hear during their wedding! All song requests are decided on during our initial free consultation with the couples and included in our wedding package. We can play any music you'd like and are thrilled to do so!

How much do you charge/what are your rates?

Our package rates are $500+HST for each musician: - Solo Violin/Viola/Cello is $500+HST - String Duo is $1K+HST - String Trio is $1.5k+HST - String Quartet is $2k+HST And our harpist is $850+HST for every 2 hours! :) Our 2 hour rate includes the Prelude (background music as guests arrive), the Ceremony itself, as well as the Cocktail Hour afterwards, including unlimited song requests

Do you take bookings in advance and for next season?

Absolutely! Our team always loves to plan in advance and be prepared well before the wedding dates. We are already nearly at full capacity for the 2024 Wedding Summer Season and are thrilled to be performing for so many couples' special day next year!

Our experience with Toronto Wedding Strings was great. Stelth was very helpful and cheerfully answered our initial request for a solo cellist, gave us some guidance for making our song selections, and was timely in responding to communications. Their cellist, Roland, was amazing! He was so nice and friendly and played excellently. Several of our guests commented on how the cello music brought the perfect "wedding" atmosphere to our small ceremony. We will always treasure being able to hear such beautiful music during this important moment in our lives.

We hired Toronto Wedding Strings for our wedding and it was the best decision. Music is the beating heart that brings life to each moment. Alice and Stelth helped us design a custom music program which is important to someone like me who wants the music to be perfectly timed and executed. On the day of our wedding, they carried it out to perfection and were able to quickly improvise when things got extended. It really elevated our ceremony to another level and guests continue to comment about the performance to this day.

They both transformed the ceremony into one that was full of depth and emotion. With their guidance we picked the perfect songs for each moment in the ceremony and they made them flow one to the next in the most natural way. We did a mix of both classical pieces and also the Beatles and Christina Perri. Take a look at your favourite wedding performances on youtube... with Toronto Wedding Strings, our ceremony was better.

We are very grateful to them both for turning our ceremony into one we will never forget. My husband and I still dance to the songs in our living room and reminisce.
