Providing soloists, duos, trios, quartets plus our 5 to 8-piece Nova Sounds Band, we curate background ambiance to high-energy partying with an ever-growing playlist of over 2000 songs, including Top 40, R&B, rock, dance/disco, Motown, country, jazz, classical, Latin, Italian, Hebrew/Jewish, Greek, and more!

Leading up to our wedding it was a pleasure to work with Alan. He was invested in our vision and assembled a custom band based on our preferences. When we told Alan the songs that we wanted for the ceremony, he made sure that the instruments he selected would do the best job of bringing those songs to life.
We were very impressed with the full 8 piece band. They brought energy to the reception and incredible live music. We especially loved the hora compilations they performed - they brought everyone to the dance floor. Many of our guests shared how much they enjoyed listening and dancing to Nova Sounds.
We would highly recommend Alan and the Nova Sounds band. We hope to have them perform at out next celebration!

My daughter and son-in-law booked them for their wedding last summer and the evening was a complete success, largely due to the complete package that Nova Sounds Entertainment provided. Their attention to detail and many years of experience in the music business were clearly evident even prior to the event. Alan Shiner met with them twice to scope out what songs they would like to be played, then reviewed their proposed schedule for the entire evening of their wedding, and even made some suggestions as to how things might go smoother(!) which they readily accepted.
As the wedding itself was going to be in a tent, Alan, the DJ and their chief sound engineer did a ‘site check' at the venue in advance to carefully plan where the band, DJ, sound system and lighting would be placed.
The sound and balance of the Nova Sounds band and singers were excellent. From the very first song, everyone could tell that this was a very polished and professional group, having a profusion of talent, excellent musicianship, versatility and expertise! Both the band and TruVibe DJ interacted with our guests effortlessly, playing all of their requests!!
We would like to give the highest recommendation for Nova Sounds Entertainment and thank them once again for making our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding a truly special evening.

From a 6 piece band to a full 9 piece band with 3 vocalists. Nova Sounds provides an amazing light show & sound system. Alan and his group offer top notch entertainment and are very easy to work with. Thumbs up all the way - you won’t be disappointed!!

What truly set them apart was their professionalism and attention to detail. They took the time to understand our preferences, ensuring every moment felt special. Working closely with Alan Shiner, the creative director and producer of Nova Sounds Entertainment, was a privilege. Despite his busy schedule with Mariah Carey's tour, Alan flew back specifically for our special day. Our rapport grew from our initial consultation phone call to watching them perform at the Shangri-La lounge, to fine-tuning set lists in the weeks leading up to the wedding. The entire experience was seamless, and they exceeded our expectations.
