Mark your special occasion at the AGO. Conferences, awards galas, bar & bat mitzvahs, weddings, retirement dinners and more are at home in our spaces, which range from historical and elegant to modern and chic. On-site catering, planning services, and AV make party prep a breeze.

Walker Court rests at the centre of the Gallery, offering an airy space which is naturally beautiful and
requires little décor. It features the iconic Frank Gehry-designed spiral staircase as its focal point, which
winds through a light-filled glass ceiling. Walker Court can accommodate up to 450 guests for a standing
reception, or up to 175 guests for a seated dinner. It is perfect for after-Gallery-hours events and can be
reserved in tandem with any other space.

Baillie Court is a modern, loft-like space with incredible panoramic south-facing views of the city skyline
offering an inspiring setting for an artistic corporate event or a special celebration. The space features
nearly unlimited audiovisual capacity, private washrooms, freight elevator, a soundproof Douglas fir air wall
and a dedicated event kitchen which allows our Culinary Team to present any menu you may desire. Baillie
Court can accommodate up to 450 guests for a standing reception, or up to 400 guests for a seated dinner.

Galleria Italia simultaneously offers a quiet reprieve for Gallery guests, a chance to enjoy powerful
connections to art and a picturesque view of Toronto. Located on Level Two of the Gallery and
overlooking Dundas Street, Galleria Italia provides a breathtaking backdrop for wedding photos
and an incomparable atmosphere for receptions. The space can accommodate up to 300 guests
for a standing reception, or up to 80 guests for a seated dinner at dramatic harvest-style tables.

As an events planner, I have had exposure to several of the top venues in Toronto, and the AGO is really the best of the best. Not only is it one of the most stunning architectural buildings in the city, the events department is absolutely top notch. The food is truly excellent, the wine selection is interesting and diverse, the internal events team are helpful, well organized and really go the extra mile to support their clients while maintaining the security and integrity of the gallery which cannot be an easy task. I highly highly recommend.

You and your team were absolutely wonderful; everyone was professional, diligent, organized, and the execution was incredible. I frequented many of the top New York restaurants when I lived there, and I can say that the execution of the AGO team is right up there. Really! Please also thank chef Annick, Darren and the rest of your staff for us. The food turned out fantastic. The guests all loved the food, and wouldn't stop raving about it. Everyone was so professional and wonderful. We can't thank you enough!

Where do we even begin in thanking the whole team at the AGO for such a spectacular evening?! It surpassed our expectations, hopes and anything we could have imagined. We felt like royalty and had THE greatest night. Where do we start? The ambiance in Walker Court when we first waltzed through was spectacular... Seeing everyone stand there, SO ready to go, so professional - it made us feel so very lucky. The special layout in the Green Room - champagne and treats... We were so touched - you took such care of us. Seeing Maria waiting there for us was incredible too! She was fabulous all evening, calm and composed and so attentive we were honoured to have our own special "person" ... We felt so well looked after all night! Then, walking into Baillie Court - I will never forget that moment! It was stunning! The tables were perfect.... My sister said that you and your staff were incredibly helpful when they came up to set out menus and place cards. That was above and beyond. And the food! The food, the food, the food. Chef is something else. It was so delicious, well presented, etc. I am devastated with myself that I was so nervous/excited I only ate about half my dinner, but it was so good nonetheless and everyone was complimenting the food. The truth is the whole thing passed by so quickly but we truly absorbed how wonderful it was from start to finish and we kept thinking "not one element was missed." That is due to your team - Laura, Darren, all the wait staff, bar staff, Chef, kitchen group, security, lighting team. We just can't stop talking about the wedding! How special it was, how happy we are. The accolades have been pouring in from our friends and our parents' friends and our families.... People are saying things like it was "the nicest wedding I have ever been to" and "the best meal I have ever had at a wedding", the "most beautiful, classy wedding" they have ever seen. It was just beyond wonderful!

The AGO is a spectacular venue for weddings and special events. the juxtaposition of old and new makes the AGO a quintessentialy urban "Toronto" venue. The staff, Beth and Jennifer, are amazing. The quality of service and food is 5star. The in-house AV team, Firedog Creative, are also amazing to work with.
