I am not one to write long and detailed reviews but think it is necessary to give Nafessa and her team credit where credit is due. With a 500+ person wedding we had to navigate multiple vendors and I can honestly say Nafeesa was one of the easiest to work with.
For a little background, we researched multiple décor companies and had virtual meetings with 5 of them. What I appreciated most about Nafeesa and the reason we chose her was her honesty. We went to Princess Décor approximately 4 months prior to our wedding with some kind of vision, some colors, but we didn’t know how to express it. She didn’t sugarcoat it- we were late to the game, she was booked for 1 of the 2 days we wanted her, and told us what could happen with hall setup and whatnot the day of. She didn’t throw a big ‘sales pitch’ and gave us ideas with décor and florals. In the end, she made it all happen for us and we are very happy.
I learned early in the wedding planning process that a lot of vendors in general will overpromise just to land your business. This is with venue, décor, videography, photography, etc… (and I’ll write reviews for all of them too). Planning a wedding is just like running a business- you just want to be able to rely on good people.
I appreciated Nafeesa’s punctuality on getting back to us whenever we had questions. I cannot emphasize this point enough. After we signed contracts with other vendors it seemed like “their job was done” until 2 weeks before the wedding when things would ramp up again. I never felt like this with Nafeesa.
For people looking at planning a wedding, here’s my 2 cents- sure you can go with anyone who has “nice pictures on social media.” Princess Décor’s quality will rank right up there with everyone else. Everything looked amazing on our wedding day- the décor, the florals, everything... When planning a wedding, make sure your vendors are quality people too- I can honestly say on our wedding day, I was never nervous about the décor.
I would highly recommend Princess Décor to anyone planning a wedding.

From the first time my husband and I met Nafeesa, we appreciated how nice and caring she was and loved the work she showed us from previous clients. She has a great eye for design and really sat down with us to run through EVERY detail to make sure we got the vision we wanted. There were even small details I added after our final meeting that I emailed her about and there was no issue adding those on. She always responded promptly to any questions we had, and never made us feel like we were bothering her!
Nafeesa also has some of the most fair prices when it comes to decor that we have seen. We could not have asked for any better. Everything was set and ready on time for both of our days, and everyone loved the set up!
I am so happy we chose to go with Princess Decor for our big days!!

On the first day, she was late but finished satisfactorily. Second day, she assumed we would be preoccupied with our guests so slacked off...was late, rushed through setup and forgot to IRON the backdrop curtains!!!, left weak lighting for us to arrange (and add to with our own), and did not finish backdrop agreed to previously. Also a tear in the stage top fabric flooring (trip hazard) was never fixed. When asked, response was "we will follow up" AFTER the event (?).
On the second day (Wedding day), we agreed NO fake flowers...she put ONLY fake flowers highlighted with dirty sand candle glass containers which we were left to attempt to clean ourselves before the brides entry. After Princess ignored multiple attempts to be reached, we scrambled on our own and hired a florist who came to the rescue 30 mins before Brides entry.
Princess will make all kinds of "promises" and claim to be "experienced" as a "Lead Designer" but is completely void of any design capabilities and any "experience" she claims is highly questionable based on what she did for us. She is, however, very talented in sweet talking, ability to lie, and cheat. A hugh red flag should have been advance payments...anyone would NOT pay once they see her complete lack of creativity, inability to recognize basic failings of her set up (ironing drapes, tears in stage flooring, increadibly poor presentations, etc.).
I am available any day or time to share our experience with others to avoid Princess Decor & Floral from destroying their weddings or events.
