Nine Times, Toronto, Live Music & Bands

Nine Times brings together the collaborative efforts of three long time friends from Toronto. The schoolmates have played in several bands together and on their own across North America and Europe. They are accomplished musicians in musical genres ranging from classical to rock and orchestral to jazz. Their initial collaboration was to write original music to inspire all listeners and their efforts have won them competitions along the way. The songwriters come from very different musical backgrounds and their songs have an original blend of clever melodic hooks, strong musicianship, pop sensibilities, and a solid rhythmic foundation. John Salucci (lead vocal and keyboards), Fred Clemente (guitars), and Darren Merenda (bass) are the original members of Nine Times. They are excited to add Nathan McLaren, a very skilled and talented drummer who will be joining them in the studio and for their live performances. The formation of Nine Times allows the friends to take their studio sound to the stage. The band is excited to perform their original material along with an eclectic list of cover songs from musicians and bands that have inspired them over the years. Nine Times brings an energetic and professional performance to your wedding, corporate event, private function or anywhere you want your guests to keep dancing and singing the night away! Our sets are made up of pop, rock, top 40, dance and alternative. Nine Times is sure to play the tunes that you will be excited to hear!
