The physical basis for collaboration, altruism, trust and interest-based conflict resolution techniques, has been identified with the "tend and befriend" hormone oxytocin. Activated by positive social interactions, it makes us care about others in tangible ways, and it motivates us to work together for a common purpose. Activities done with one or more other people raise oxytocin. Skydiving can produce a greater than 200% oxytocin spike. iFLY is a facility that contains a recirculating air-free fall simulator allowing people to experience skydiving without having to jump out of a plane, in addition to full corporate conference facilities.
