Sonia and Matt’s big day proves that less really is more. Swapping traditional for modern, the couple’s vision for their wedding included tons of texture, greens, ivy, and a chic minimalist vibe that is definitely Pin-worthy. The brilliant minds at Rainbow Chan Weddings and Events loved creating an unforgettable wedding day at the historic Storys Building that perfectly represented the pair. Thankfully the talented lens of the Mariner Agency was there to capture each beautiful moment.
Lots of natural light, gorgeous greenery and stolen moments made for the most romantic first look and photo session.
The theme of simple and chic extended to the couple’s intimate ceremony text that was officiated by Enduring Promises. According to Rainbow Chan, the couple kept speeches to a minimum because they knew their friends and family were excited to party — although there was not a dry eye in the house!
The couple’s reception was deliberately understated. Playing with the texture and history of the venue, the planners seamlessly juxtaposed sleek modernity with the surrounding rustic elements. Keeping with the minimalist theme, Forever Wildfield reserved flowers for the bouquets, and installed gorgeous hanging greenery to bring down the ceiling, making the space feel more intimate. These installations matched beautifully with the white and green centerpieces, which included just enough to candles to create romantic ambient lighting, and linens from Around the Table gave it just the right touch. Guests dined on a scrumptious cake from Baked by Nature, and later danced the night away to the tunes of Maximum Music.
