Dayna is very responsive and easy to get along with. We hired Dayna for the engagement cake (which we loved) and our wedding cake. Although the engagement cake was lovely, our wedding cake was not so lovely. We ordered one tier (there were three tiers in total) to be red velvet with cream cheese frosting. However, she did not use cream cheese (which is a must with red velvet cakes). Also, the cake was not the colour we requested and the line on the cake were completely crooked. We had emailed Dayna upon our return from our honeymoon. Although she was quick to respond by letting us know that she will consult with her team about our concerns, we did not receive an email back. The cake itself was worth over $600 but the service we received was not what we hoped for.

I really wanted to like Bite Me Bakery. I was very happy with Dayna, who was very responsive and had great customer service. The entire process was easy and smooth - from designing the cake to paying for it. That said, we had a serious problem with our wedding cake on the actual wedding day - it melted during the delivery! This is probably a mistake that even a rookie cake delivery service would not make. Our wedding took place in the spring and we never would have dreamed that a problem like this would occur at this time of the year. I had very high expectations for Dayna, as I had seen her beautiful cakes. Of the different vendors we considered, we thought Dayna would be able to deliver something we wanted. But when we saw our wedding cake, we couldn't believe it. It looked like a leaning tower. It was in such a bad shape that we had to remove the bottom tier before we could do the cake cutting. Our caterer had to stick flowers to patch up the melted areas. It was so disappointing and embarrassing! We couldn't at all display our full wedding cake - something that I really wanted to do (yes, I'm sure most brides would want a beautiful wedding cake to display). We expected to hear from Dayna after the wedding to offer an apology or an explanation, but it didn't happen. I had to reach out to her a few days later to give her an opportunity to explain. She did apologize and offer to reimburse 75% of the cake. I would rather have a beautiful cake the wedding day than to take the reimbursement. I wrote this review to let other brides know that this happened. I still can't understand how this could possibly happen given that this was a cake business.

Dayna did a wonderful job on my daughters baby shower sweet table! She was easy to contact and so helpful to deal with. Each of the selections were delicious and so very fresh from the salted caramel cake, to the strawberry mousse and lemon meringue mini tarts. I would recommend Dayna for any special event you are having.

Dayna at Bite Me Bakery did a full sweet table for my bridal shower and our New Year's Eve wedding cake(s) and cupcakes! I must say, not only does she make the most- THE MOST- delicious cakes and sweets EVER... But they're the most beautiful things on the planet! Almost too gorgeous to eat! I surprised my husband with a peanut butter and jelly cake (his favourite sandwich flavour) and Daynas cake literally tasted like a better version of the sandwich! SO YUMMY! Thank you Dayna for making our events so special and sweet!! We will most definitely be using you for all our future cake and sweet table needs, and will gladly and highly recommend Bite Me Bakery to everyone! I hired Dayna at Bite Me Bakery to make my New Years Eve wedding cake. She made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The cake was beautiful and she put a lot of extra TLC into making each teir my favourite flavours. Everything was delivered and displayed perfectly. Not only that, but she also made myself and my fiancé an additional vegan cake so that we could have something delicious alongside our guests! Thanks again Dayna!!

Bite Me Bakery did a fabulous job with our wedding cake last August in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It was great because the cake had four different flavors all hidden under one glamorous cover. The flowers on the outside were amazing. We got compliments from all the guests that tried it! Dayna was also quite accommodating, allowing u to change combinations at the last minute. Thanks so much for an amazing wedding cake!
