We had the brightside for one of our biggest orientation event at TMU and I can honestly say that it was definitely the best event of the whole week because of them. We hire them every year and every year they come and bring the house down.

This band performed at my hospital’s fundraiser and absolutely killed it! They turned an otherwise dry corporate event into a proper party. They were very open to tweaking the set list and the vocalists delivered on every single song. Working with Shawn was such a pleasure and I know they will be back to play at the next hospital event very soon. Seriously, do not sleep on this band!

The Bright Side performed at my daughter's wedding - July 20, 2024 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. Beyond fabulous! The dance floor was packed and rocking all night long! Shawn Rompre was a pleasure to deal with, both before the wedding, and the day of. Many guests said The Bright Side was the best wedding band ever. I had a few musician friends as guests and they also gave The Bright Side high praise.

We had the Brightside play at our wedding and they absolutely brought the house down! They were fantastic throughout the night from their cover of our first dance song to dancing sets that got the entire wedding onto the dance floor!

Shawn was amazing to work with leading up to the event. His communication was great and he took our personal taste into account when putting together the set list.

We would recommend the Brightside to anyone in the greater Ontario region!

What a band. What a sound. So talented, so professional, so fun. We looked at a LOT of bands to find the right group for my wife's 1970s-era birthday party. The Brightside had an amazing look and sound, and Shawn was amazing about finding the right combination of musicians to fit our budget. They got the crowd dancing immediately and they were everything we hoped they would be.
