After a thorough search of Toronto wedding venues, my fiancee and I decided to go with 2nd Floor. Their team was very helpful in walking through event and menu options with us and generally guiding us through the planning process. Plus, the venue itself is ideal for a smaller or mid-size wedding, and the space has a cool slightly casual feel to it.

Working with Zoey and the team and 2nd FLoor Events was absolutely seamless from start to finish, resulting in the most wonderful wedding day! As soon as we viewed the venue, my husband and I knew it was the place for our wedding. There is a lot of natural light, the space is modern yet romantic and just the right size for our 60 guest wedding (although the capacity of the space is much bigger) - more room to dance! Zoey was our coordinator and was so easy to work with - she was fun and professional and really understood our 'vision' for the day. She helped us with everything from menu choices, vendor recommendations (in particular our DJ who was incredible), decoration and was just a great pillar of support and advice as our big day approached. Going into our wedding day we had absolutely no concerns about the venue - how it would look, where things would be placed etc. as Zoey and the team had absolutely everything under control. On the day, everything at the venue was just perfect! My guests are still (2 months later) talking about the incredible food, the beautiful space, the amazing drinks selection, and my bridesmaids still talk about how lovely Zoey was putting all of us at ease before the ceremony. This venue really has the wow factor and is a hidden gem in the centre of Toronto! We are truly so grateful to everyone at 2nd Floor Events for giving us the most magical day!

The team at 2nd Floor Events not only met, but utterly exceeded our expectations throughout our entire wedding planning process. The venue itself is the perfect blend of industrial and modern. The space is truly the perfect backdrop for any colour palette or design style you have in mind, as there are so many options available for customization. We loved the huge bar where none of our guests ever had to wait to be served because the staff are incredible. From the passed hor d'oeuvres during cocktail hour to the late night eats served while people were dancing, the food was outstanding! The head chef and his kitchen staff even went to the lengths of making a customized dessert for our menu that was not listed in their meal package. Zoey, our primary event coordinator, gave a whole new meaning to the expression "on the ball" and was always available to sort out details and/or answer questions along the way. If you're looking to get married or host an event at a venue that truly cares about throwing flawless parties, then book with 2nd Floor - you won't be disappointed.

We got married at 2nd Floor Events, we looked at a few venues and eventually decided on this venue - we couldn't have asked for a better event space and team of people to help us in planning such a special day. We totally fell in love with the bricks and everything about the place. And the food!!! Everyone at our wedding raved about the food, it was phenomenal! The chef used to cook for AGO's restaurant Frank's. Jessica and Zoey were both sooooo wonderful to work with, especially Zoey who was so patient and helpful, the whole team including the service staff was just the best. I could not recommend this place more!! Everything was just perfect!!!

My partner and I had our wedding here a few weeks ago and it was EVERYTHING we imagined it to be and more. Words can't express how grateful we are for all of the advice, suggestions and hard work 2nd Floor did on our Wedding! Thank you Chef Jeff for putting up with our long list of dietary restrictions and making sure we had authentic perogies for my baba. We had the pleasure of working with Rachel and Zoey. They truly made the wedding planning experience, fun, exciting and enjoyable for us. We are already thinking of ways that we can rent out the space again!

Couldn't be happier with our experience at 2nd Floor...we hosted a company holiday party here last year, and everything went off without a hitch! A beautiful venue which is actually reasonably priced (especially considering it's in the heart of King West!), an amazing menu that the staff helped to build, and the crucial 2nd Floor team to help bring it all together. Nicole, their Event Producer, was super engaging and helpful every step of the way - thank you again! Looking forward to booking again this year, and in years to come.

The Second Floor Events Venue is a beautiful space! It is the perfect balance of industrial yet refined which makes it an ideal backdrop for any type of event. As a caterer it is very easy to produce any type of cuisine out of their fully equipped commercial kitchen and they have sleek, modern table top wares right on site. We highly recommend the Second Floor Events Venue for Weddings, Private Events & Corporate Events.

I officiated Montana & Ryan's wedding ceremony here last night and it was great! The space is very cleverly designed to accommodate a lovely, windowed ceremony space which then transforms and opens up to create a large banquet space. The vibe is rustic and hip with a clean, modern flair. Staff were all super friendly, helpful and professional. Special thanks to Zoe & Clea :) I was able to sample some of the hors d'oeuvres and they were super yummy and unique. Not sure if the venue caters or if it was from an outside source but it was delish! Looking forward to working there again!
