Pennies is a neighbourhood bar, slinging sliders and cheap drinks every day of the week ... and now hosting both semi private and private events throughout the year! Events can be hosted inside year round, on the patio(s) in the summer, and in the heated tent when fall arrives!
Perfect for holiday parties, summer team appreciation parties, corporate presentation lunches, and life celebrations of all shapes and sizes!

Hosting an event at Pennies is an absolute joy and easy to plan! They are super responsive and accommodating during the planning process and were outstanding, setting the tone for a seamless experience.

The staff at Pennies added a touch of magic to our client appreciation night—lively and fun! Last year's heated patio was a hit, providing the perfect atmosphere for my clients to connect and enjoy themselves. We hosted around 40 people.

I cannot rave enough about hosting an event here.

Katie is so accommodating and responsive during the booking process. The staff on the night of was incredible, patient and very fun!

We had an amazing time last year on the heated patio and will be returning this year.

We have hosted multiple private events at Pennies and each time they’ve knocked it out of the park. First, we rented the heated outdoor tent for a birthday party in December. The grab-and-go food and the fun, colourful Pennies ambiance makes for the perfect party space. The staff was also super easy to work with both leading up to and during the party. After our guests raved about this experience, we decided to rent the entire venue in October for a large group after a charity run. Once again, the party was a hit and the staff were awesome. My friends and I love to stop by Pennies year-round as the prices are very reasonable, the staff are very friendly, and the vibes are always great! I would recommend Pennies to anyone looking for a laidback, fun time with friends!

We have used Pennies for a couple of corporate functions. The staff is extremely friendly, responsive, and flexible with order changes and also provide great recommendations! The food was delicious, packaged very well and left us wanting more. 10/10 will continue to use Pennies for catering gigs!
