We are so happy with our decision to hire Herman Photography for our wedding photography and cinematography! Not only was him and his team very professional and on time, they go the extra mile to ensure that everything will run smoothly and that our photos will turn out the best they can be. Even though we were very tight on timing on the day, Herman and his team still ensured that we get all the shots we want! Not only did he meet our demands, he also ensured that all important moments were captured throughout the day! He even captured all the details to the wedding (e.g. decor, flowers etc.) which we appreciated since it was what we took time to plan for! Herman also delivered the photos/videos according to the timeline promised. We received so many great feedback on the same day edit video as well as the photos we shared. All in all, Herman Photography exceeded our expectations and they are such a FUN bunch to work with! Excellent job, Herman and team!

If you're choosing Herman, you have decided you want nothing but the best. Anyway, jokes aside. Assuming you're already in love with his portfolio, let me tell you about Herman as a person.

First and for most important: you can only get good photos if you're actually feeling happy, especially on the actual wedding day. Herman and his crew is able to do just that for you.

Herman is a very friendly guy. He is extremely passionate about his work. When we told Herman that we were going to get married in 2016, he was way more excited than us. We told him what we were looking for and he lead us to exactly what we wanted.

We took our engagement photos at Tobermory, which is a fantastic place if you want mother nature as your scenery. With that said, there are a few spots which are extremely difficult for the photographer to take photos from. For Herman however, no terrain will stop him from getting that perfect photo for you - he will do everything a human possibly can to get that shot for you.

All of our guests were extremely impressed on our wedding day when we shine our engagement photos at the reception. All in all, I will recommend Herman to anyone that is looking for a photographer. You can't go wrong with Herman.

Herman was our photographer when we got married in Oct 2016. I had seen a lot of photos from Herman Photography posted on Facebook all the time, so when we got engaged, we were always sure that we wanted to hire Herman to be our photographer. We love his style. He did our pre-wedding photos as well, he gave us a lot of ideas/choices on location. He is very professional, he would spend a long time on one pose, he wouldn't stop until he gets the perfect photo he wants. He is very nice, he met up with us several times to discuss the detail on the wedding day, to make sure nothing goes wrong. I was impressed with the same day edit video, it captured the highlighted parts of our wedding day. It was edited within a short period of time. Herman's crew is very professional, they are funny too. We don't feel awkward at all when taking photos. We were very relief and the photos came out to be very natural and nice. Overall, our experience was exceptionally great!

Herman did our wedding photos back in 2013 and we lose count of how many compliments we've got for our wedding photos! Prior to the event Herman took the time to meet with us multiple times to look at the venue and gather ideas for the event. He listen to our needs and understand what we hope to achieve with our photographs. We were so impressed by how unique the photo are - he really take the time to know about your personality and put those personal touches on his work. When you look at his portfolio no two photo sessions are the same. On our wedding day Herman's team arrive bright and early, they were very pleasant from start to finish. During the evening reception, the team put together a 'same-day edit' slideshow featuring the highlights of our wedding day. Even in such a tight time frame they were able to produce very high quality photos, along with a matching song to go with the slideshow, it means SO much to us and our guests at the Wedding. In fact, my mom is still sharing the slideshow with her friends until today, it was so beautifully done she just never got tired watching it!
Herman, thank you so much for your dedication and professionalism! it was truly a meaningful, pleasant experience for us and our family. We would highly recommend Herman and his team!

We met Herman from our friend's wedding in 2013 and we knew he was the perfect photographer for us when we got engaged. His impression on us was very special, because of his professionalism, creativity, and friendliness - it was everything that an engaged couple need to capture every Kodak moment on their once-in-a-lifetime day. Before our wedding, we actually recommended Herman to Jess' brother who had a destination wedding. There is a uniqueness to his style in that he is able to get to know your friends and family in that he can capture what is precious to the individual person. Regardless in destination weddings, or weddings in town, Herman is the one photographer that we will rely on for the rest of our milestones! Because he is not only the one taking the pictures, but he goes beyond what a photographer does in capturing and delivering the feelings in them.

My husband and I first met Herman June/16 when we were searching for a photographer for our engagement and wedding. The whole process was extremely overwhelming, until we found Herman. From our first meeting, we knew we found the perfect photographer. He's very professional, kind and always goes above and beyond for his clients. We were so impressed with his photography and professionalism during our engagement session, we hired him for both our local and destination wedding! What made our decision even easier, was the fact that Herman works closely with a make-up artist, Michelle, of MYU Make-up. Convenience is second to the fact that she did an outstanding job and catered to my every need. They make such a great team! Working with Herman and Michelle was great. They truly made it a stress free experience and we couldn't have asked for a better team for the job. Herman was not only our photographer, but someone we now call a friend. We can't wait for future photo sessions!
