Every year, the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC)—founded by Danielle Andrews of The Wedding Planners and Tracey Manailescu of Tracey M Events — brings together wedding professionals to celebrate industry achievements, spark inspiration, and set the tone for an incredible year ahead. This year’s theme, “Timeless Elegance,” provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening at the breathtaking Ascott Parc Event Centre.
The WPIC Kickoff isn’t just an event—it’s an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and experience the magic of a beautifully curated celebration. Guests left feeling energized, inspired, and ready to elevate their businesses in 2025! A big thanks to Motion D Photography for capturing all the details of the evening.
Flora Peng of Infinitude Design and Fleur Weddings transformed the reception space with stunning centerpieces, blending both tall and low floral arrangements with the soft glow of candlelight to create a dreamy, elegant atmosphere. Nayos enhanced the look with exquisite tableware rentals all atop linens provided by Chair Decor, all perfectly capturing the essence of Timeless Elegance.

The stage, designed by Infinitude Designs, features dramatic light fixtures that exude elegance, perfectly capturing the essence of the evening.
Vogue Wedding Decor set the scene with a stunning welcome display. Lush velvet green linens, striking black drapery, and gorgeous floral arrangements created the perfect photo-worthy moment.
Prior to the award ceremony, guests enjoyed delicious passed hors d’oeuvres all while mingling among the various vendors and sponsors who helped make the evening possible.
It was an incredible cocktail hour! Brent Miller LIVE filled the room with smooth, lively tunes, further enhancing the buzz in the air.
For those with a sweet tooth, Succulent Chocolates wowed the crowd with custom-made, decadent chocolates—a delicious way to kick off the evening!
Guests loved A Portrait by Vicky live line portraits – a unique and interactive experience – the perfect keepsake!
As the reception began, guests enjoyed a deliciously curated three-course dinner courtesy of Ascott’s creative culinary team. The incredibly talented Elena - Violinist & Harpist serenaded the room with enchanting melodies, adding a touch of magic and romance to the evening flanked by show-stopping dancers from Indigo Entertainment.
Before hitting the dance floor, guests indulged in an irresistible selection of treats from the stunning sweets table by Sweet Life by Monita—a deliciously sweet moment before the final celebration!
