Rosa and Alex’s wedding day was inspired by their Peruvian heritage. The couple met at work and they immediately bonded over their shared cultural background. The rustic charm of the Berkeley Church was the perfect choice for their big day! This vibrant and rustic wedding planned by the creative team at Mad Bash Group and captured by Jennifer See Studios is definitely one you won’t want to miss!
When you think of Peru, llamas and alpacas are one of the first things that come to mind; and llamas happen to be Rosa’s favourite! The amazing team at LBL went above and beyond expectations by surprising the bride and groom at the wedding with three alpacas wearing floral wreaths. Rosa and Alex posed with their surprise guests who stole the show in the venue’s courtyard.
The couple exchanged vows on the mezzanine in front of the beautiful stained glass windows.
The whole room was decorated with the colours of the Peruvian sunset. From bright coral to dark purple, the florals from Hunt and Gather matched the vibrant balloons from Balloon Bar. The centerpieces were surrounded by handmade Peruvian table numbers and beautiful hand lettered signs designed by Catherine Cachia. Alex’s mom brought back textiles from Peru to complement the décor and rentals from Event Rental Group and Detailz. The 25 ft. ombre balloon installation and adorable string art llama backdrop were the perfect statement pieces for this gorgeous wedding!
