Though Laura and Tomas met on the first day of university and became instant friends, it wasn’t until five years later when they reconnected as “more than friends.” Flash forward to their gorgeous and elegant wedding at Toronto’s picturesque Casa Loma, and it’s apparent these two have found their fairy-tale ending. Luckily AGI Studio was on hand to capture each splendid moment of their big day — you don’t want to miss this one!
The couple share their romantic first look amidst the breathtaking scenery at Casa Loma.
From the Bride: After the ceremony and after nearly four hours of photos outdoors at the Casa Loma gardens, Tomas and I went to the bridal suite to unwind. We were absolutely exhausted and starving. It was the first time we had sat down since getting ready at 6 that morning and we hadn’t eaten since then either. We ate all the snacks the caterers brought to our suite in under five minutes. From the balcony of the suite, we could see the Glass Pavilion and grounds being transformed for the reception. It was a nice pause from the busy day that allowed us to breathe on our wedding day.
The bride envisioned a white, sophisticated wedding — and her wish came true. The couple’s reception was the epitome of old world glamour, with every detail adhering to the sleek white palette, including the beautiful blooms from Carisma Florals and the chic decor from FOS Rental Group. Even the entire pavilion was draped in a white sheer fabric, which against the lush gardens of Casa Loma, made the stunning pavilion really stand out.
A stunning 4-tiered cake designed by Fruitilicious Cakes with beautiful floral decor capped off the night on a sweet note.
From the Bride: One of my favorite decor elements was the floral “garden” that the florist installed behind our sweetheart table. The idea was to mirror the beauty of the outdoor gardens inside.
