When Daniel saw Veronica in the university gym for the first time, he decided at that point that he wanted a chance to be with her. For nearly a year he tried asking her out, but had no luck (poor guy!). Finally, he set up a double date with her best friend, hoping she would come along – and, much to Daniel’s luck (finally!) she did. The two of them hit it off immediately and knew they wanted to be with each other for the rest of their lives. To celebrate their love story, Veronica and Daniel held a romantic vintage garden wedding at the Belcroft Estate in Gilford, Ontario. Lucky for us, Purple Tree Wedding Photography was on hand to capture the couple’s special day on the estate’s peaceful grounds.
Daniel and Veronica experience their first look among the beautiful scenery of the estate which features vintage bicycles, an antique car and the estate’s iconic covered bridge! What more could you ask for?!
With their closest friends and family present, the couple say their vows on a carpet of green grass, framed by tall trees.
Still beaming and basking in the glow from their official union as husband and wife, the couple joined their guests at the reception which was held under a fanciful Marquee tent. The curtains of the tent were left open to let in a gentle, cooling breeze. Glamourous Affairs did a fabulous job designing the décor by contrasting deep brown chairs with pink linens and adding vintage chandeliers. The team at Passion Flowers arranged centerpieces of lush hydrangeas and pale roses that stood proudly in tall gold vases. After dinner, Impact DJ got the crowd on the dance floor, and everyone’s sweet tooth was satisfied with a delightful slice of cake and tasty cake pops – a perfect ending to Veronica and Daniel’s beautiful day!
