It was an absolutely gorgeous afternoon for the much anticipated Open House at Fermanagh Farms. The sun was out, a slight breeze was blowing, and all the splendour of spring surrounded us – the perfect day to show off everything this rustic barn venue has to offer for couples in search of the idyllic wedding venue.
Located a mere 30 minutes from Vaughan, Fermanagh Farms is the perfect setting for any couple looking to host up to 120 guests (or 200 guests in the tented area). The original barn, built in 1893, received a renovation in 2014, upgrading the space to be able to provide everything a marrying couple could need for their dream day. The property is full of natural backdrops for that once in a lifetime wedding portrait, complete with forested trails, planted fields, and a tranquil pond to tie it all together. Entering the space, I decided to drop by and meet with all the lovely vendors. Designs by Dina provided multiple décor set-ups throughout the space, including tablescapes, welcome signage, and the gorgeous hexagonal arch set-up, showcasing the one of many ceremony sites found on the property.
Some of the most beautiful artwork on display at a wedding is the wedding cake. Creative Atelier Cakery did not disappoint, showcasing intricately designed masterpieces.
