The Broadview Hotel opened their doors for their first ever wedding open house over the weekend! Located in the east end of downtown Toronto, this historic, charismatic, and versatile event space offers multiple event spaces accommodating as little as 20 guests, or as many as 140 guests for a seated dinner reception. Every detail of this stunning hotel have been meticulously considered and achieves that perfect blend of a contemporary feel with an old-world charm. Liight Photography was on hand to capture all the stunning details.
We begin our tour on the 2nd Floor where attendees were invited to view the gorgeous hotel suites. Sash & Bustle had some beautiful gowns on display, and there were live models roaming the open house in stunning wedding gowns and evening dresses. Gotstyle showed off some of their chic menswear options – my personal favourite was the green velvet blazer, so on trend right now!
Our next stop along the 2nd floor is Lincoln Hall – the primary event space at The Broadview Hotel. Inspire Event Rental & Design did an incredible job decorating the space to show what a real wedding would look like. Event Rental Group provided the tables, chairs, and tabletop accouterments, and showcased their new event rental arrivals as well! The decor was light and airy and the perfect compliment to the exposed brickwork and steel beam structure.
Next, we move on up to the 7th Floor, to a space called The Tower. The Tower is a gorgeous intimate setting perfectly suited to host a small wedding or social event. by Francesca, xo Weddings & Events provided the floral and decor design for this space, which did a fantastic job highlighting the vaulted ceilings and all those incredible chandeliers. The decor worked really well with the warm wood tones in this room.
Also on the 7th Floor, is the newly re-designed rooftop. I absolutely love this space with its unobstructed views of the Toronto skyline and Don River. The panoramic views served as the perfect backdrop to the ceremony setup, which was also designed by by Francesca XO, while St. Royal Entertainment serenaded guests with their live string quartet. It is such a warm and inviting space, made complete with wooden chairs, a swing, and all that faux fur!
Bobbette & Belle served up plenty of pretty cake inspo with their amazing display of creations! They also had cupcakes to sample, which I most certainly did, and boy were they delicious!
Danny at DJ Floh Back Productions played background tunes while guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres made by the in-house culinary team. The lovely ladies from Mango Studios were also on hand to answer any photography questions.
The Nail and Champagne Bar provided on-site hair and nail services in the Dominion Suite, which I think all the female guests greatly enjoyed (myself included)! This is typically the suite given to Bride’s on their wedding day for getting ready, and it was absolutely stunning! It was a fabulous opening house at Broadview Hotel enjoyed by all, with great food and refreshments and lots of incredible vendors on hand to showcase the different event spaces. Big thanks to all for hosting such a wonderful event!
