Credit Valley Golf and Country Club hosted their annual open house this past weekend, inviting guests to come enjoy their warm and inviting atmosphere on what turned out to be be one of the coldest & snowiest days of the year, thus far. With their twin fireplaces ablaze all afternoon, the storm outside served to only further showcase how incredibly comfortable and versatile this venue can be on even the harshest of cold winter days.
Let’s begin our tour led by the brilliant Julie Broadbent Photography who captured this show’s exceptional cuisine, helpful vendors and (most importantly) the magic of this lovely event.
The room was full of sample wedding tables that were decorated in a variety of styles courtesy of I Do Weddings and Decor and Plush Flowers.
I especially loved the elegant (yet cheeky) head table and the stunning hanging florals!
In the centre of the room was an impressive spread of food courtesy of the venue’s in-house catering team, starting with passed appetizers – including my personal favourite, generously sized Indian Vegetarian Pakoras with mint chutney! There was also a humongous, delectable Charcuterie Board for all to enjoy.
The generous supply of food was complimented by an open bar – always a sure-fire way to make a lasting impression!
Cake was also in full supply with delicious samples from La Casa Dolce and our friend’s at Patricia's Cake Creations (sure, I may have had more than one).
Guests enjoyed a wide variety of music through the afternoon with our team at Brent Miller LIVE supplying live music, trading off sets with the DJs in Maximum Music and 586 Event Group.
While our hands and feet may have been cold from dusting off our cars, our hearts and bellies were full from this lovely afternoon at Credit Valley. Thanks again for a wonderful event!
