Susan and Mike’s micro wedding is a lesson in how to blend the traditional and the personal, on a micro scale! Due to COVID-19, the couple had to cut their original guest list, resulting in 100 guests outdoor and 50 guests for the indoor reception. But the couple, along with the brilliant team at Destiny Weddings, made it work and then some (including a rainy wedding day)! Set at the beautiful Holland Marsh Wineries and shot by the talented Capso Studio, you’ll want to check out this funky-and-chic celebration.
The couple’s stunning photo session showcased not only the couple’s playful-yet-romantic connection but also the venue’s gorgeous greenery.
An elegantly modern arch along with bold red florals made the most stunning focal point for the couple’s outdoor ceremony, which was officiated by Enduring Promises.
The couple’s reception blends traditional elegance with chic vintage vibes. Using red as their main colour palette, the newlyweds combined timeless elements with personal details. The groom loves playing guitar and loves collecting vinyl records, which were incorporated into the big day. For example, vinyl records were used as charger plates, chair back signs, and seat chart. In addition, a small cute guitar was also added on the groom’s boutonniere! Gold metallics and string lights added a modern dreamy vibe to the rustic venue, while gorgeous blooms from Alethea Flowers rounded out the romantic feel to the night. Guests feasted on delicious fare from O'Malley's Catering & Rental and were later treated to a delectably stylish cake from Yue’s Cake.
