Picture this: a romantic wedding that beautifully blends modern and timeless styles together and perfectly fits both in a garden setting and one in the city. Sarah and Gideon’s wedding at La Maquette Restaurant does exactly that, and it could not have been more elegant and charming! The couple currently live in the UK, and flew across the pond to celebrate with family and friends for their Toronto wedding, and from these gorgeous photos (and their endless smiles), you can tell that it was everything they dreamed about and more. Captured by the talented lens of Oak & Myrrh, you’ll definitely want to check out this gallery.
The couple’s romantic first look and ensuing photo session took place at the enchanting Spadina House and was truly picture perfect.
The couple exchanged vows in an intimate outdoor ceremony surrounded by both stunning Mother Nature and chic city sights.
Elegant decor, romantic lighting, and lush florals made the couple’s La Maquette reception unforgettably dreamy. Using a refined, minimalist design in neutral shades, along with vintage and delicate accents, ethereal signage from the talented Lynda Athey Watson, and pretty pastel florals from Stôk Floral & Design Inc., the newlyweds created a sophisticated garden party look and feel that was as effortless as it was elegant. Guests were treated to a delectable cake from The Wedding Cake Shoppe and later danced the night away to the tunes from Listro Entertainment.
