Anu and Sameer dreamed of an elegant wedding in the city and enlisted SAWC Planners to plan the perfect one for them at Toronto’s exquisite crystal ballroom in the The Omni King Edward Hotel. The wedding featured a beautiful palette of pastel blues and pinks mixed with lush white florals – perfectly elegant, just as the couple envisioned. Mango Studios captures all of the day’s special moments.
Anu was dressed in a gorgeous Lehenga with pink tones and a floral pattern. Her bridal wear was accessorized with lots of gold and her arms were decorated with traditional henna.
The ceremony took place in a beautiful space that featured an extravagant, modern chandelier and was filled with gorgeous florals. The mandap was covered with white cherry blossoms. In keeping with tradition, during the ceremony the couple placed white rose garlands on one another.
Anu and Sameer had a wonderful photo shoot just outside the hotel. They also took some photos with the statue of Tembo, the mother of elephants, in Toronto’s financial district.
While Anu changed into a navy, one shoulder bridal gown, the venue was reset with tables and a dance floor for the reception. Everything was set in brilliant white with hints of gold to match the motifs on the walls. On the tables, menus framed in gold sat atop of gold-rimmed plates. With the help of Sara Baig Designs, simple elegance greeted the guests. Tea lights in glass holders and delightful light pink and white flowers were placed on top of square mirrors at the centre of the tables. Anu and Sameer were grateful to be surrounded by so many loved ones on their special day. Everyone had an unforgettable time celebrating their love!
