Amanda and Brian first met at a charity party in Toronto back in 2012. The pair hit if off right away, but after 2 short months of dating, Amanda moved to New York City for work. “We were pretty sure we had something special, so decided to keep dating despite the distance – and this was the beginning of a 2-year long-distance relationship,” Brian recalls. Amanda moved back to Toronto in 2014, and the rest, as they say, is history!
Romantic, rustic, and simply elegant perfectly encapsulates the vibe of Amanda and Brian’s big day at Goldhar Conference & Celebration Centre. Planner Ashley Lindzon Events helped the couple design the wedding of their dreams, and the results were simply stunning. Luckily, our friend Scarlet O’Neill was there to capture each and every sweet moment.
Gorgeous greenery, sunny skies and stunning open fields: the perfect backdrop for this stunning couple’s adorably romantic photo shoot.
The intimate outdoor ceremony was highlighted by the bright and breathtaking floral chuppah by Fuscia Designs which featured sweet tones of lilac and peach – perfect for a summer wedding!
The couple’s reception was a chic combo of a garden romance and modern elegance. We love how the colourful florals and mint green palette contrasts against the sleek design of the venue and adds a softness to the room. The simple style of the linens by Around the Table and rentals from Luxe Rentals completed the natural, soft, yet classical look of the night.
In the bride’s own words: “The whole wedding day flew by – and we loved every second of it! The highlight was definitely our hora (a traditional Jewish celebratory dance) which was a pretty long, wild and rambunctious affair with the chair-lifting and prop-filled entertainments! We had so much fun celebrating with our family & friends and we felt so sincerely grateful to have so many people come from near and far to celebrate with us!”
