Ruth and Evan wanted their big day to be an effortlessly elegant affair and recruited the talented team at Fab Fête Event Planning Boutique to make this vision come to life. Held at York Mills Gallery in North York, the couple chose a soft colour palette with glamorous details. Matching the right elements together, they created a modern-yet-elegant look. Careful not to miss a moment, Purple Tree Photography arrived in the morning to take shots of Ruth and her maids getting ready. The bride wore a beautiful lace gown with a flower motif and a long train. Ruth wanted her bridesmaids to have the freedom to wear the dress designs of their choice and the bridesmaids all looked stunning in dresses in various shades of black and grey, with matching grey shawls.
The toned-down grey and white hues on the wedding invitation inspired the colours used in the whole wedding. Paper Impressions Inc. created the lovely stationery for the big day.
Wanting something unique for their photo session, the couple decided to travel to Mint Room Studios – the ornate white walls and chic furniture embodied the effortlessly elegant vibe of this couple’s entire day.
Ruth and Evan said their I do’s framed by chuppah of rich florals. Family and friends were overjoyed to celebrate with them.
The reception was dazzling! Guests felt like royalty as they entered the room. Detailz provided the furniture, which included a majestic, black glass head table set in a silver frame. The tables were set for the five-course feast: Linen Closet dressed them in white tablecloths and runners topped with grey napkins. They were lit up with candles and decorated with vases of white, pink and lavender roses by Flowers Time. Golden candlesticks gave a classic traditional touch to the tables while clear chairs and round ball chandeliers gave the space a modern look. It was exquisite – exactly what Ruth and Evan had wanted! The newlyweds were so grateful that their closest family and friends were there to share this special day.
