After months of careful planning, the much anticipated Rebecca Chan Workshop for wedding planners finally came to life this past weekend! With the support and shared experiences of multiple industry leaders, this premium workshop was a unique opportunity for attendees to delve deep inside the business of weddings. In true Rebecca Chan Events fashion, all the stops were pulled to deliver a truly immersive experience for the attendees. Accented with vibrant spring colours, the workshop truly was inspirational in every sense of the word.
Held at the Berkeley Bicycle Club, the entire day was captured by Mango Studios and James Frodyma.
Let’s start with the decor! Blush linens and white chairs from Event Rental Group popped against the white custom vinyl floor from Designer Dance Floors. The design of the vinyl was created by Rebecca herself, perfectly complimenting the flowers on the table.
Guests enjoyed a delicious catered lunch provided by the culinary team at Berkeley. Fresh and colourful flowers from Rachel A. Clingen Wedding & Event Design, modern placesettings from Plate Occasions and personalized touches from Paula Lee Calligraphy and Wedding Star.
Lunch concluded with a lovely sweets table display created by Fruitilicious Cakes, with rentals from Southern Charm Vintage Rentals.
Brent Miller LIVE provided the soundtrack for lunch, serenading guests with acoustic covers of pop music.
Part of what made the workshop so unique was the intimate and interactive setting where attendees were able to freely chat with all the guest speakers over lunch, offering a far more customized learning environment.
The seminar space was beautifully appointed with blush linens from Event Rental Group and floral from Rachel A. Clingen Wedding & Event Design.
Beyond the décor and displays was a full day of learning and education. Rebecca Chan spoke about the power of branding, pricing yourself intelligently, and the importance of managing client expectations.
The day was indeed well-spent! The curriculum covered a lot of ground and the intimate setting lent itself to a far more immersive learning environment than that of a more traditionally regimented classroom style. Hats off to Rebecca and team for their flawless execution of a fantastic idea. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride!
