This week, EventSource heads northbound to check out Paradise Banquet & Convention Centre, one of Vaughan’s most popular banquet halls. With over 50,000 sq ft of event space spanning no less than six well-appointed ballrooms, this family operated business has hosted several generations’ worth of special events. Famous for its stunning chandeliers and detailed ceiling work, the venue opened up its doors, inviting couples to pop in to sample delicious cuisine from the culinary team and enjoy the offerings from the many experienced and personable vendors. The talented team at Digital Dream Productions was on hand to capture the details.
Each beautiful ballroom featured elegant designs from the in-house team at Decor With Grandeur including stunning drapery, vinyl dance floor wraps, centrepieces and floral decor. We loved the glitzy head table linens on the elevated stage and the stunning lace overlays on the guest table. I always appreciate the way this team sets up a table. Each room showcased an array of centrepiece options to suit any style: from lush florals to modern metallics. The little extras like the chiavari seat covers and cute chair ties really put drove the decor to the next level, creating an all-to-enchanting atmosphere within each ballroom.
Couples in attendance were to meet and chat with some of the venue’s preferred vendors. Guests got to check A Celebrity Limousine‘s impressive luxury vehicle fleet and chat with our good friend Rob. In each of the ballrooms, Good Vibrations played everyone’s favourite hits, doing a great job of keeping the atmosphere light and upbeat. A standout feature was iEvent Rentals‘s carnivalesque dancers and the living table model, who strolled through the venue offering patrons glasses of champagne – a cute touch! The well-dressed gentlemen at 4MenUnited helped prospective grooms figure out their signature wedding style with custom suits to fit any theme or budget. The lovely Eryn Shannon assisted future brides with achieving the best bridal look for their big day. Bridal beauty is always such a personal and often difficult decision, so Eryn’s experience and personal attention to Clients definitely stood out as her booth was busy all night long!
Paradise Banquet & Convention Centre‘s bridal open house is always impressive to me because the experienced catering and hospitality team is fantastic at creating an experiential experience for engaged couples. From the great treats at the bar and food stations, like Short Ribs with Polenta, live handmade Gnocci, Nutella Bombs and Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Truffle Fries, to the fun prizes to be won, this open house had guests well-entertained. I especially enjoyed the show at the end of the evening. Couples had the chance to see what their entrance, entertainment and first dance could be like at Paradise, and it was clear that they were loving it! Congratulations to the team at Paradise and all of the fantastic vendors who helped make this open house a success!
