If you fancy traditional romance with natural organic undertones, then you’ll love Lauren and Chris’ big day. With the help of Shaw Events, the couple created an elegant wedding that was ripe with romantic elements and stylish boho inspo. Pretty pastel florals, delicate details, and dreamy setting at Kurtz Orchards made this stunner of a wedding look like it was taken straight out of a fairy-tale. Beautifully capturing the day, Simply Lace Photography was on hand to photograph the couple’s exquisite day. You’ll definitely want to check out this gorgeous gallery!
Tall trees and gorgeous greenery made for the perfect backdrop for the couple’s adorable first look, and ensuing photo session that emanated love and light.
From the Bride: I’m not sure if the first look would be a favourite for me because I was nervous. Nervous for Chris to see my dress and hair, knowing I had veered off of traditional for a more boho chic inspired yet whimsically romantic slip dress that I absolutely adored. I know he adores me but in the dress? Suffice to say he did!
In a breathtaking outdoor ceremony, including a minimally chic awning and darling flowers, the couple exchanged vows in front of their loved ones.
A heavenly white tent complete with stunning chandeliers was the perfect venue to channel the organic and sophisticated vibe of the couple’s reception. A clean white palette set the tone of elegance while pops of pink, including the pretty florals from Bellwood Blooms, provided the right amount of whimsy. Dreamy candlelight and vintage-like accents, including a bohemian macrame weave, from Simply Beautiful Decor completed the ethereal feel of the night. Guests took home packets of their own “love brew,” a.k.a coffee.
From the Bride: A stand out moment for me was when we lit the wish lantern and released it into the sky. Knowing I could honour my mother and to know she was there with me. She had always told me from when I was a little girl that no matter what, if she was far away or someplace else that all I had to do was look up at the stars and know that she was looking up at them too. So this was a really special tribute to her and for her.
