Being huge foodies, it’s not surprising that when it came to selecting a venue for their big day, Alyssa and Maurice made food their number one priority and one of the City’s top restaurants, Alo Restaurant, naturally came to mind – they fell in love with the place after attending a birthday there, and the chic and intimate restaurant became the perfect backdrop for their modern and elegant wedding. Being an interior designer, the look of the venue was important to the bride. The restaurant’s modern and sophisticated design worked perfectly with the couple’s contemporary vision for their wedding. A neutral palette of greys and whites was punched up with pops of soft pink while metallic accents gave it that “wow” factor. The minimally chic florals from Sweet Woodruff rounded out the trendy-yet-timeless look.
