Michelle and Scott first met in high school, but didn’t start dating until seven years later when they reunited at a mutual friend’s going away party. The rest, as they say, is history! Perfectly planned by Jenna Coates, the couple’s wedding at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club features beautiful details, including everything from the cupcakes to the florals. Snapped by the talented lens of Olive Studio, this wedding is absolutely stunning and definitely Pin-worthy.
From the bride: “Our wedding was everything I could have imagined. Leading up to the ceremony, we watched the weather and crossed our fingers that we wouldn’t get any rain. I’d like to add that it was about 42 degrees Celsius on our wedding day, literally the hottest day of summer! But, the fact that we ended up getting zero rain made me the happiest bride. The view was STUNNING and April was able to capture it so perfectly when doing our shots.”
The gorgeous scenery, including the stunning cityscape of Toronto, provided the breathtaking backdrop to the couple’s romantic photo session.
To achieve a chic nautical feel, the couple’s reception was decked out in clean, crisp linens, pretty pastel florals by Caruso & Company and romantic rustic details. Impact DJ provided the music, while a tower of darling cupcakes capped off the night on a sweet note.
From the bride: “The party was so much fun, everyone danced, drank (A LOT!) and continued to eat. When people tell you to take it all in because it goes by quickly, they are NOT lying. It was a complete whirlwind of a day, and the best day of my life. We had so much fun dancing the night away, and heading back with all of our friends on the ferry afterwards was quite the way to end the night.”
