Sharing a love for Toronto, Michelle and Jesse knew they wanted to get married in the city, and wanted to celebrate in style with a classy, modern, and chic look. With the help of near + dear events they planned the wedding of their dreams in a central downtown location for their guests. The ceremony was held at the historic Trinity Chapel on U of T’s campus, followed by a reception at Malaparte - Oliver & Bonacini, right in the heart of the entertainment district. A perfect spot for photos, the popular event venue offers a great view of the city on its rooftop terrace. Lucky for us, Mango Studios captured all of the day’s sweet moments.
Following the ceremony, the couple had a charming photo session among the romantic archways and brick walls of Trinity College at the University of Toronto. And we can’t get over how stunning Michelle looked stunning in her asymmetric dress!
Before dinner, guests mingled outdoors on weaved patio sofas topped with comfy cushions. Surrounded by skyscrapers, the stairs of the staggered terrace led up to a stage where the live band played smooth tunes. Inside, guests also had the chance to enjoy the gorgeous views of the downtown skyline from the floor to ceiling windows. The white quatrefoil ceiling sparkled with spotlights, and the mirrors reflected the brightly dressed hall. The tables, chairs and curtains were various shades of white, creating a soft contrast. Timberlost designed centerpieces with light florals hugged by vibrant greens to fit the romantic mood. Everyone enjoyed a heavenly 5-course meal catered by the team at Oliver & Bonacini Catering followed by a delicious cake from Nadia and Co. The newlyweds danced and celebrated with their loved ones well into the night. Truly a wonderful wedding!
