Nature lovers Linda and Jim’s wedding was definitely one stunner of an outdoorsy celebration. The couple’s big day was DIY in every way. They planned everything for themselves, and dedicated weekends for wedding decor shopping. The results? One dreamy day at the Kortright Eventspace for Conservation! The day was a beautiful blend of boho chic-ness with a mix of organic elegance. Captured by the talented lens of photographer Toronto Wedding Studios, you’ll definitely want to check this rainy day wedding out!
Mother Nature’s immense beauty provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s romantic first look and breathtaking photo session.
The couple’s outdoor ceremony, which was officiated by Enduring Promises, was a green paradise filled with dainty rustic elements, including a lovely floral archway. A little rain added some excitement to the day as well! According to the bride, they momentarily considered moving the ceremony inside but ended up keeping it outdoors “because that was the wedding we envisioned and it looked beautiful even in the rain. Thankfully our guests had umbrellas and were willing to get a little wet!”
The couple’s earthy and elegant reception was filled with warm wooden touches, as well as lots of DIY goodies, including delicate paper lanterns and streamers. A clean white palette along with an abundance of greenery and lush florals from Willem & Jools capped off the ethereal vibe. Guests were treated to delicious fare from Peter and Pauls Event Catering, and a slew of yummy desserts from Bloomers before dancing the night away to Nth Degree Entertainment Group.
