This past week, the newly launched opened its doors to industry professionals, welcoming clients, family, and VIPs to check out this super versatile 20,000 sqft space! Partnered with the Magen Group, with the help of some of Toronto’s top industry vendors, this furniture-store-by-day converts seamlessly into an oh-so-impressive event venue by night. A big thanks to Matt at for capturing the event.
Entering the space, I was blown away with the high-impact presentation of all the vendors’ booths. The energy was palpable as everyone was so excited to showcase their work.
With a nod toward what will undoubtedly become a popular mitzvah staple, the venue was lined with colourful and seemingly endless amounts of extra yummy treats from as well as InStyle Events. Sugar rush is an understatement! We’re talking ice cream, cotton candy, bubble gum, chocolate, and so much more. Let’s just call it an amuse bouche.
The venue has a beautiful, long runway that leads to the back of the building which houses the main event space. The runway was lined with some incredible vendors including , Daejadream, and . All the stunning, vibrant colors of the table set ups and swag had no shortage of creativity and customization. It truly felt like I was walking through a magical world of design.
Approaching the end of the runway, beautiful drapes welcomed you into the main space of the venue: a whopping 6,000 sqft of open, versatile space. The blank canvas provides the perfect backdrop for just about any event type: weddings, corporate events, galas, mixers – you name it! For this event, the outer perimeter showcased more of the venue’s preferred vendors.
Front and centre was – of course – Magen Boys Entertainment who lit up the room with a duo from their ever-growing, talented entertainment roster. My company, Layla Nassar Events Inc gave away custom straws and chip bags while gave away custom lip glosses made on site from their new lip bar.
Of course, we couldn’t forget to head over to the bar and grab a custom cocktail from the ladies at Jade Events.
I hope people came to this event hungry because the caterers were certainly there to impress!
Encore Catering served up tempting Whiskey and Tamari Ribeye that was absolutely delish! There was also a veggie option of Maple Shoyu Braised Cabbage which was also so yummy. Of course, we can’t forget those stunning desserts.
Always a crowd-pleaser, Toben Food by Design brought along some mini Chicken and Waffles that were mouth wateringly good! For dessert they had their famous Kitchen Sink Cookies.
Food Dudes brought multiple options of seafood consisting of a Hokkaido Scallop, Yuzu Ceviche, Aji Amarillo, Cilantro Crema, and Pickled Shallots. The Miso Black Cod was incredible! They also had a vegetarian option which was their Grilled Maitake and a cute chocolate truffle box for dessert!
L-eat Catering featured a 21 ingredient Paese Calabrese slaw and a Branzino accompanied with roasted european sea bass filets, herbs salsa verde, and wild rice pilaf. For dessert, they introduced me to a Salted Caramel Budino with Butterscotch and I was so happy to have tried it. Everything was so delicious!
As the evening wrapped up, guests lingered and enjoyed took in the energy of the evening, making full use of the venue’s onsite furniture – another big perk! Ideal for both corporate and social events alike, for those looking for a large-capacity, versatile, and unique event space in the west end, NewAge Venue definitely has a ton to offer! Thanks for letting us be a part of the big launch.
