With wonderful lakefront views, an earthy colour palette, and precious DIY details—Hannah and Steven’s wedding at Edgewater Manor was truly a romantic celebration that was worth waiting for. The couple first met in 2017 at a gathering when Hannah was visiting her extended family in Toronto from Taiwan. Although initially, they were just friends, eventually their true feelings took over, and when Hannah returned back to Taiwan, their long-distance love story began — the struggle was real. A year later, they finally reunited in Toronto as Hannah is planning to live in Toronto permanently. The couple had been working extremely hard to achieve their goals including getting Hannah’s citizenship and getting their house together. Another highlight: Hannah’s parents were living in Taiwan, and due to the pandemic, they could not travel back to visit. Since restrictions are now lifted, the parents were able to attend their wedding, which brought lots of touching tears. Every detail of Hannah and Steven’s wedding was beautiful, thanks to their brilliant wedding planner, SS Wedding & Event. The groom and bride’s elegant looks perfectly matched their wedding vibe, including the bride’s beautiful gown from Cinderella Bridal Boutique with her hair and makeup from Tang Makeup Studio. Luckily the talented lens of White By Bellevie was on hand to snap each memorable moment.
Stunning views of Lake Ontario provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s romantic photo session.
The couple’s outdoor ceremony included many personal and elegant touches, including gorgeous florals from Boutique Spirale, a hand-painted mural of the couple, and special furry friends. The melodic tunes of Harpist Gracelyn were the perfect accompaniment to the procession.

The couple’s reception combined traditional elegance with ultra-romantic vibes. The newlyweds took their celebration as an opportunity to beautifully blend personal and DIY details with soft and sophisticated decor. A neutral palette paired seamlessly with DIY items that Hannah created herself, including table numbers, a menu card with guests’ names, the guest book canvas and welcome sign. Steven proposed to Hannah at TerreB leu Lavender Farm in 2018, which inspired her to create her candles to the same scent of Lavender. Guests enjoyed snapping shots of the night with the photo booth courtesy of MangoTree Studios.
