In celebration of their recently completed renovations, Graydon Hall Manor hosted industry members to a fabulous evening of canapés and cocktails, showcasing the newly renovated – and always breathtaking – event space. This historic boutique venue first opened its doors back in 2000, but this year underwent a refresh project for its Great Hall, Coach House, Library, Conservatory, and each of its 4 meeting rooms. Toronto’s elite event professionals gathered to enjoy an evening of networking, live music, and wonderfully catered fare! Thankfully, photographer Anthony Patrick Manieri and his team were on hand to capture this stunning event.
I absolutely love the picturesque, manicured grounds of Graydon Hall and the outdoor patio space. The beautiful, tree-lined lawns are the perfect spot for an elegant outdoor wedding ceremony. Guests milled about the patio and outdoor space, taking in the views and sipping tasty cocktails served by the friendly staff from Staff Your Event. I headed upstairs to enjoy the trademark view of the gardens with fellow colleagues where the super talented Suzanne Cyr, from Pretti Face BY Suzanne Cyr refreshed my look to achieve maximum fabulous-ness!
As a wedding planner, I obviously have a deep appreciation for a well-appointed room, and the versatile space in the main ballroom was designed perfectly to suit a stylish cocktail reception. Contemporary Furniture Rentals and Stemz teamed up to style this already gorgeous venue with dainty, elegant pieces that perfectly capture the sophisticated tone of this event.
If you’ve been reading my previous posts, you’re well aware of my affinity for beautiful venues and delicious food. Graydon Hall surpassed my expectations with a bounty of delightful canapés presented most artfully. Examples of the incredible offerings include sliders with aged cheddar, arugula, and garlic aioli, red snapper ceviche with fried onions, and frenched lamb chops with rosemary, cumin, and date glaze. My personal favourite from Couture Cuisine, the in-house catering team, was the potato gnocchi, served in a gorgonzola crème.
Of the many, many delightful dessert options, a standout was the mini passionfruit panna cotta. I won’t say how many I had, but it was definitely more than one!
Michael Coombs Entertainment kept the mood festive behind the DJ booth, keeping the crowd energized while making their way around the beautiful estate.
If you missed Graydon Hall Manor’s #GHReveal2016, you unfortunately missed out on a fantastic event and an opportunity to view a beautiful gem in Toronto. Each room was a treat to venture, with great options for weddings and corporate and social events. Hats off to the team at Graydon Hall Manor for throwing such a fabulous bash. From the reactions of the many attendees, the new look is very well received!
