Natalie was completely swept off her feet when Jason proposed – and for good reason! While visiting his family in New York City, Jason took Natalie on a rowboat in Central Park. He rowed the boat out into the middle of the pond and let it come to a standstill. He took her hands into his, got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. A year and a half later, they threw the biggest party of their lives! With the help of Weddings by Beatrice Chau, the couple planned an elegant wedding with a cream and lavender palette at Paradise Banquet & Convention Centre. Rhythm Photography captures every special moment.
Natalie and Jason had a romantic photo shoot in the sunshine. The train of Natalie’s dress looked lovely in the gardens.
The ceremony was held in a hall with crème brûlée coloured walls and majestic gold motifs. The whole day was beautiful and ran smoothly except for one small hiccup: a few minutes prior to the ceremony, Jason and Natalie realized they had forgotten their rings! With no time to spare, the couple borrowed a ring from one of the bridesmaids and one from their pastor. The ceremony went smoothly, and no one noticed the rings were borrowed. Luckily, Jason and Natalie are such an easy going couple and were able to laugh about this blunder (and agree that they will continue to laugh about this for years)!
Keeping with the colour scheme, the reception hall shone with a purple glow. The tables wore white linens and silver table runners, and they were topped with cream and lavender centerpieces provided by Parkette Floral Design. While making their grand entrance into the reception hall, the couple came in singing “Love is an Open Door” together. DJ Good Vibrations displayed the lyrics on a screen and guests joined in as well! Everyone had an amazing time celebrating Natalie and Jason’s special day!
