As a thoroughly modern couple, Chantel and Adam decided to buck tradition and hosted a sparkling brunch wedding rather than your traditional evening reception. Held at the expertly renovated The Burroughes in Toronto’s Queen West neighbourhood, this celebration, which was planned by Blush & Bowties is the perfect example of how you can do “you” while maintaining class and elegance, with a touch of pizzazz thrown in! Ever After Photographers captures every magical moment.
Chantel donned a graceful lace gown surrounded by bridesmaids in dazzling gold dresses which dazzled wonderfully against the Burroughes‘ industrial walls and the views from the rooftop — all of which provided the perfect urban backdrop for this couple’s sweet first-look and photo session.
Guests unplugged from their devices to be fully present for the intimate ceremony. The couple exchanged vows and kissed under an elegant wedding arch adorned with the prettiest of roses.
Crown Flora designed the lovely rose bouquets for Chantel and her bridesmaids, and also created the utterly unique glass dome centerpieces (similar to the one in Beauty and the Beast)! To contrast with the less traditional centerpieces, each table was set with white china and linens, gold tableware and a name card held by a sliced champagne cork. Guests were treated to brunch catered by Food Dudes, bubbly and, to top off the fun day, some sweet treats!
