This past weekend, the Distillery Events team invited couples to their much anticipated annual Wedding Open House. Guests were invited to explore the multiple venues on site including the ever spectacular Fermenting Cellar, as well as the smaller, more intimate venues, Cluny Bistro, Archeo, and the The Distillery District - Loft, which is where we will begin our tour! With trendy decor and transformed spaces, guests left inspired to plan their special day. Speaking of inspiration, the uber talented team at Jackie O Florists pulled out all the stops to lead the creative vision of the day. Big thanks to 424u Photography for being onsite to capture it all!
The Loft was set up beautifully, with an intimate ceremony space and seated dining. With the exposed wood beams and string lights, this really is such a wonderfully intimate and cozy space!
Archeo was next up on the tour. This spacious restaurant space recently removed their partition walls, leaving it open concept. Slightly larger than the Loft, this is another great space that emits the same type of intimate vibe. The DJ Floh Back Productions team was onsite providing the soundtrack for this space.
Cluny‘s private room was set up so beautifully for the open house tour. This space is a great option for guests opting to host a smaller reception or wanting a private room for an event like a bridal shower or rehearsal dinner. Also, the sweet Macaron tower left me wanting more – after all who can say no to macarons?
Guests descended upon the main party in their biggest event space, The Fermenting Cellar. Upon entering, guests were greeted by a beautiful heart arch and whimsical swing. It was a photo opp that every guest took advantage of! It was certainly cold outside, but guests were channeling spring the second they stepped in.
The giant marquee letters provided by Made by Navin beautifully complimented the stunning dance floor area created by DFD Event Solutions with a floral inspired vinyl.
Beautifully inspired florals by Jackie O were sprinkled throughout the venue.
Element Event Solutions inspired guests with beautiful tabletop setups perfect for the spring. The white-on-white is a classic!
I especially love how the modernity of the Isabella chair from Chair-man Mills contrasts with the raw industrial backdrop! The soft candlelight and florals also lent a lovely aura to the whole space and coupled with the gorgeous cherry blossom trees, created a wonderfully romantic vibe.
Furniture from Detailz created luxurious lounge spaces. There was something for everyone, whether guests were into clean modern lines or soft velvets.
Guests had a chance to meet and greet with Distillery’s preferred vendors, including Le Dolci, Enduring Promises, and A Lush Affair. Parlour Salon and Andrea Makeup were also onsite providing touch-ups.
As always, the Distillery Events team did not disappoint with the food. I especially loved the Coconut Shrimp with Honey Garlic Sauce and the Cauliflower and Almond Butter Fritter (yum!).
Oysters from Raw Catering were a huge hit, as always! Shucked right in front of you, this is as fresh as it gets.
Maggie’s Ice Cream offered delicious ice cream cookie sandwiches to end off on a sweet note.
I had such a great time taking in all the sights, sounds and inspirations. Hats off to the Distillery Events team and all the amazing vendors who came together and didn’t hold back in giving couples amazing inspiration for their wedding day. Can’t wait for next year!
Big thanks to Images Life Media for capturing the event on film.
