Dina and Christopher’s timeless and luxe wedding at the Windsor Arms Hotel is a perfect reflection of their sophisticated personalities. The couple met during articling post-law school and have been inseparable ever since. Christopher proposed by leading Dina on a long walk through the city by the places significant to their relationship, including where they met, had their first date, and where they were called to the bar, before popping the question in the park just outside their home – with her sister witnessing the proposal from inside! Their amazing planner Vivid & Vogue was able to bring their wedding dreams to life with a fabulous fete. Thankfully Mango Studios was on hand to snap each moment.
The couple’s sweet first look was followed by a fun and flirtatious photo session that embodied their beautiful connection.
The couple made it official in an elegant ceremony accented with cream-coloured chairs and a lush pastel floral display.
The couple were drawn to the elegance of the Windsor Arms Hotel with its traditional ambiance. The couple also loved the warm quirky, pub-decor nature of the attached Gatsby restaurant where cocktails hour took place during the room flip. They chose a black, white, deep green and gold palette to keep things elegant, classic, and crisp, which emanated throughout the entire design of the evening from the tablescapes, to the linens from Around the Table. The floral arrangements by Bellwood Blooms were a breathtaking mix of seasonal pines and foliage mixed with gorgeous flowers in shades of toffee, caramel, gold, cream, and ivory in mercury glass vessels. The stunning floating ceremony arch and head table garland were built on-site to bring emphasis to both the ceremony and to frame the couple during dinner. Tons of candles were used to warm up the space and provide a glow on the longest night of the year. The simply elegant tiered cake by Love in Bloom Cakes included an olive oil and honey flavour, to celebrate the groom’s Italian heritage. The bride’s family lovingly provided the traditional (and potent!) Caribbean rum cake which was just as lovingly devoured by the guests. Guests then danced the night away to the tunes of Maximum Music.
