Welcome to Credit Valley Golf and Country Club‘s annual open house! Nestled in the heart of Mississauga, the newly renovated 40,000 square foot facility offers spectacular views overlooking the valley and golf course. We were invited down to tour the lovely space and meet all the fantastic vendors, so let’s get started!
By the way, if you haven’t had the chance to meet Azure Blue Photo + Cinema, you should! Stacey and her team are absolutely fabulous and provided all the gorgeous photos for the evening.
Entering the venue, romantic tunes from 586 Event Group set the perfect tone, guiding guests to a lovely dual wine barrel display complete with the sweetest jam jars and scone favours. Such a sweet and uniquely customizable gift for your guests to take home! Personally, I love wedding favours like this because they lend that perfect touch of personalization.
Entering the grand room, the floor to ceiling windows really showcase how bright and open the room can be. Subtle wood beam accents lend a slightly rustic feel. The openness of the space offers couples the versatility to work with just about any colour palette they can imagine. Each table was uniquely decorated by I Do Weddings and Decor showcasing an array of options from which to choose. Going one step further, they also included some floral arrangements as as well, displaying a variety of styles: short and tall, elaborate or simple. Perfect inspiration for couples’ big day!
KJ & Co. had a gorgeous tablescape displaying breathtaking flowers from Mum's Garden. Their table was elegant and modern; just a small example of their gorgeous work.
I Do Weddings & Decor also provided the subtle and beautiful rose gold linens and greenery which really brought the look to life. A soft white backdrop draped with gorgeous garlands provided the perfect compliment for the head table, allowing the most honorary guests – the couple – the opportunity to really shine!
My favourite part of the night had to be the food! The venue offered up a wonderful spread of in-house catering items – many of which were fabulously displayed on harvest tables. The Beef Wellington was to die for – the flavourful, tender bite of beef was like a little bit of heaven floating in a cloud of crispy dough. And my absolute favourite, the amazing Lemon Meringue Tart: a burst of fresh lemon with every bite and featured the prettiest fluffy white peaks!
Patricia's Cake Creations‘ display of cakes were stunning! The level of detail and intricacy that goes into each one of her designs truly shows the amount of time and effort that goes in to each masterpiece. Patricia takes a very hands-on approach and truly cares about her clients, always ensuring they get what they desire. You’re likely catch Patricia or a dedicated family member dropping off your wedding cake personally to ensure its in perfect condition, that’s how much they care!
There were many other of the venues’ select vendors onsite as well: Enduring Promises, a group of fantastically friendly and experienced officiants; Avenue Photo and Julie Broadbent Photography, two super talented photographers who have collectively helped hundreds of couples capture their big day perfectly; Maximum Music, one of Toronto’s top DJs; and of course, the talented duo of Sarah and Brent from Brent Miller LIVE, whose musical abilities can really elevate your guest reception experience.
For those of you who are newly engaged or still looking for a venue, make sure Credit Valley is on your list of venues to see – the stunning grounds, the newly renovated reception spaces and the terrific food make this venue a perfect option for your big day. It was a blast to see the venue, thank you for having me!
