Amanda and Brad met during their fourth year of university and became close friends instantly. By second semester, Brad finally mustered up the courage to ask Amanda out and the rest, as they say, is history! Fast forward a few years to the couple saying their “I Do’s” in the lovely village of Kleinburg at the notable The Doctor's House. With Bows and Lavender behind the lens capturing all of the special moments from this cozy autumn day, you’ll want to grab your pumpkin spice latte, curl up and enjoy the beautiful captures!
Guests were offered shawls and blankets to stay warm in the crisp autumn air. The joyful ceremony warmed the hearts of friends and family as Amanda and Brad said their vows under an arch made of white bark and green leaves at Kortright Eventspace.
From the Bride: My favourite part of the wedding day was coming down the aisle to see Brad on the other end waiting for me. I was feeling super calm all morning, but when we got to the ceremony space, it all became so real! I could see our incredible guests from the top of the entrance stairs, an old friend was our musician and she was playing one of my favourite songs for the bridesmaids to walk into, and my dad was having a very sentimental moment with me. Suddenly, I was a bundle of nerves! When we got down the stairs, my dad and I went the wrong way (obviously we hadn’t paid enough attention during rehearsal). The crowd laughed, then we started laughing, and I looked up to see Brad, and it was the happiest moment of all.
The sweet couple had an enchanting photo session in the surrounding woods.
The reception was held in the Great Hall of the Doctor’s House, where floor to ceiling windows create a serene atmosphere. The space was dressed in classic white, accented by beautiful crimson red, snow white, and deep green floral arrangements designed by the ACM Designs by Donna. Surrounded by great family and friends, Amanda and Brad’s lovely fall wedding was unforgettable.
