Christina and Tao had a classic and intimate wedding planned by Wedella. A simple colour palette of purple, pink and ivory with a splash of red for good luck was an elegant choice to enhance the architecture of the Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto. From the favour boxes filled with candy to the rice paper flowers on the cake, this wedding was perfectly sweet.
From the Photographer: Christina and Tao’s wedding was a beautiful and cozy celebration with 40 of their closest friends and family. Featured inside the Museum Room at the Shangri-La hotel were large floral centerpieces and a unique floral structure for the head table. The tall centerpieces complimented the soaring floor to ceiling windows inside the space – it was completely breathtaking! From their heart felt first look to their emotional thank you speech, one can tell this was definitely The Best Day Ever! And the one who stole the show – Choya, the Samoyed! She even walked down the aisle to witness her pawrents tie the knot and participated at the photo shoot at Osgoode Hall. Congratulations Christina and Tao!

With their adorably photogenic Samoyed puppy, the couple had a playful photo session as they walked around downtown Toronto.
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Christina and Tao exchanged vows under a floral archway with flowing fabric.
The newlyweds hosted their reception in the beautiful Museum room of the Shangri-La. Sparkling crystal chandeliers and natural light shining through the floor-to-ceiling windows illuminated the reception. A long floral centerpiece with floating candles in geometric shapes was a statement piece to the head table. Silver and rose gold accents perfectly complemented the textured gray tablecloths and tall floral centerpieces. They topped the evening off with a dreamy purple watercolour cake decorated with pink and purple flowers by dearDeer Baking & Pastry Lab.
Norris Films was also on hand to capture the couple’s big day on film.
