Caroline and JP’s big day at the stunning Hotel X Toronto is a perfect blend of city glam and classic elegance. The couple, who met in March 2015, were set up by their grandmothers – can you say Grandmas know best? After meeting at a Toronto Starbucks for a coffee over one March Break, the two immediately connected but there was one issue – Caroline was living and working in Vancouver at the time. But the two continued to chat, and, as fate would have it, Caroline moved back home and the happy couple started to formally date.

The couple made if official in an intimate ceremony that hit all the right modern contemporary notes.
The couple’s reception is the perfect balance of modern and elegant, which was highlighted by the minimal chicness of Hotel X. According to the bride, they loved the venue both for its modern ambiance and for its proximity to their home and to Lake Ontario. The main focus of the wedding’s palette was a pretty blush, which is reflected in the lush florals from Wild North Flowers and the bridesmaids dresses, all of which added the right amount of romance to the day. The dreamy stationery suite from Paper & Poste also encapsulated that ethereal vibe. Later, the guests were treated to an exquisite cake from Dufflet Pastries.
