When Grace and Trevor started planning their wedding, they were certain of one thing right away: they wanted to exchange vows at Old Mill Toronto. Both the groom’s parents and the bride’s parents got married at there, so it has a special significance to their families.
The wedding’s theme came together by combining the vintage feel of the historic venue with autumn inspiration. To make all of their wedding dreams come true, the couple enlisted the help of Bisous Events, who created a dreamy, bohemian-luxe wedding sprinkled with rose gold, copper and jewel tones. Jacqueline James Photography captures the wonderful day.
Suiting the venue perfectly, Grace looked like royalty: she wore a beautiful vintage lace dress adorned with pearls and her hair was woven neatly into a flower crown. The couple had a lovely photo session in front of the venue’s stone walls and long windows.
Grace and Trevor said their I do’s under a wedding arch decorated with warm coloured florals and leaves in front of their nearest and dearest.
Dressed in off-white, the chairs and tables stood out against the dark wood wainscot and gilded ballroom wall. Patchouli Floral Design created the charming centrepieces that were an eclectic mix of white, cream and red flowers accompanied by green and yellow leaves. The tables were set with gold silverware and little golden boxes of Purdy’s chocolates sitting on the side plates added a sweet touch. A dinner fit for kings was served on rose gold plates and wine was poured into large gold goblets. While guests were eating, the charming couple took their first dance in the centre of the room. After dinner, guests enjoyed delectable cake and cupcakes made by Prairie Girl Bakery and music played by the DJ & Co. Grace and Trevor were grateful to celebrate this magnificent day surrounded by loved ones. It was another elegant wedding at Old Mill for their families to cherish.
