It was love at first sight for Andrea and Erik. The two met at a York Muay Thai club several years ago when Andrea was a receptionist and Erik was a member. While Andrea wasn’t technically allowed to date members, that went out the window when she spotted Erik for the first time. After a few weeks of playing it cool, he finally asked her out and they’ve been together since. Erik proposed at his cottage, a place that the couple both love and where they’ve had many happy memories and conversations regarding their future. Their wedding, styled by the bride herself, is a perfect example of that organic romantic vibe. The couple’s reception mixes elegant details with lush dreamy accents. Their sophisticated colour palette of white, green, pink, with gold, added the right amount of glam with organic elements. According to the bride, the design for their centerpieces was inspired by from the gold candle pillars from Michael’s that she really loved. Focusing on “less is more”, the couple created a dainty and airy decor that was chic, minimal, classic and unapologetic. With lovely florals from Hunt and Gather, every detail for the wedding was personal to the couple and it shows beautifully.
